Serra Toyota of Decatur review: Joanna

Upon arriving at Serra, my husband and I were met by a friendly smiling female salesperson, Joanna. What a surprise! Way to go, Serra!
We explained that we were just looking and told her our likes and some dislikes. We wanted a new car. Joanna was a good listener and showed us several cars on the lot. We gave our reasons to her why a certain car was not what we might be interested in. She then showed us THE CAR. It was a good size for our little family and a great color. We decided to do a test drive (my husband, James, drove while I sat in the back having asked Joanna to sit in the passenger seat). We were impressed with all the "whistles and bells" of the 2026 Corolla Cross. Some are: the special floor mats, the moon roof, leather seats, starting the car from the remote (having the ac ready for us upon our arrival), heated steering wheel, etc. Joanna was a good teacher and very patient. I truly never remember laughing with any other salesperson, but with her, we enjoyed her personality. I must say that neither of us ever felt any pressure from her. What a blessing! Joanna is a keeper!
I must comment on the closing. Please forgive me for not remembering his name. He came to Joanna's desk, met us and showed us to his glassed in office which, by the way, was decorated with baby Toyotas placed on a shelf. We have been in dark closing rooms before that were creepy feeling but this one was light and airy. He showed and explained some options which we took. I liked his sweet family pictures, too.
Thanks for the staff that washed, shined the new tires on the Corolla Cross. I know this is routine but think of the opposite. We all like the smell of a new car!
We never experienced a weak link in Serra. Yes, 5 Stars!
