Poor service
Good day, im trying to found JUSTICE in my case who are handled by SCORPION LEGAL PROTECTION, since i reported the matter in 2018 where i struggled to received my PROFIDENT FUND from my previous company. I do a complaint before this and the MANAGEMENT and Me Liz Nair, Mr Szondo, promised to finalize the matter as soon as possible, the case was transferring to a second Attorney, im very disappointed in how my case are handled and every time they promised to finalize, as soon they have feedback from the Attorney. The High Court given instruction to do attachment but they have a problem to proceed. Please do investigation regarding above complaint.

Bad service from scorpion consultants and complaints department
scorpion is failing to resolve a dispute for me between myself and telkom, since 2020 but they keep on debiting monthly premiums for no service received. i've sent numerous follow up emails to [protected]@Scorpion.biz and & [protected]@scorpion.biz to no response and even tried to call your contact centre and being transferred from east to south. I need urgent response as telkom is continuously harassing me. i've attached all the trail mails for your ease of reference regarding case 1057982. this is the worse service i've ever had in my entire life

I have been a member of Scorpion for mor than 15 yrs without any claim whatsoever, I have been to your office on countless occasions to get assistance without any luck. My membership number is129740 and case number is 610954-Mr Boy Moshane ID [protected]/invested monies.
My complaint is that to date nothing has come to fruition on the matter, being a satisfactory response from the invester. I have requested this to be followed up to its logical conclusion by Scorpion. I have since stopped my membership out of frustration but willing to re-activate.
My plea is that this be followed up and I get all the money or at least my R100 000,00 that was invested.

Their so-called good lawyers can't take my 2018 case to pre trial. Yes, from 2018 to 2023 and I still can't find justice, all thank to scorpion. Someone damaged my vehicle and the is evidence but scorpion is procrastinating my case to go to trial. I don't know if they have many clients that they can't handle or is it me that they chose not to help but I pay for their service. Even if I complain, they still don't care
They simply apologize and say they will get on to it but they never does. I would advise people not to join scorpion

The worst company ever to deal with. A hoax of a company. They just want to deduct the debit order to make money nothing less. 2nd time I phone for legal assistance and 2nd time I was told they don't cover the help I needed. What do they cover. NOTHING. Delayed since 2017 to sort out our problem with city of Cape Town
In 2017 as a 4-person household we received a R180 000 municipal bill for the month. Then next an R30 000 and then an R20 000. We took the matter to scorpion, who appointed lawyers, matter went to the high court. Those lawyers didn't want to deal with our matter so new lawyers were appointed. Late last year, they knew lawyers were not paid by scorpion to resolve our matter.
We are being bullied by city of Capetown as since 2017 our water to drip. Also, since last year 2022, 90%of money buying electricity goes to city of Cape Town. Now we don't have water at all!.

I would like this case to be speedily resolved with a favourable judgement. I want my car to be fixed by Dalpark BMW.
I hereby lodge a complaint against Scorpion Legal Protection. The case no: 3637843. In the year 2017, I took this
matter to Scorpion seeking for help as Dalpark BMW in Boksburg was refusing to fix my car at their own costs as I took my car to them for a replacement of a water pipe. They claimed to have fixed. When I drive the car for the first time it seized an engine.
I took this matter for Legal assistance. I had to meet the their appointed lawyer. I had to submit documentation with threats that my case will be closed if I do not submit the requested documents within a specific timelines. I did all that. I have since been waiting for the outcomes of the case. I have been sending them emails requesting feedback. I have been totally ignored.

I will never forget a disappointment I received from Scorpion Legal Protection. After being a loyal member for so many years, since early 2000's, and I've never claimed.
This year 2023 was my first year to ask for legal assistance from Scorpion Legal, but I was so shocked and disappointed when they rejected for my legal representative (Attorneys) fees which was appointed by them on my behalf.
They now told me about Section 6(1) which was not part of the agreement when I joined Scorpion legal Protection. There was never any clause that says some Civil matters cannot be covered by Scorpion legal protection. I chose Policy A which covers Civil; Labour and Criminal related matters.
They waited until their Attorney represented for me in Court, when they had to pay the Attorneys out, they told me that my claim has been rejected. That's very unprofessional.

Seeking reimbursement for vehicle bought and returned situation ongoing for years because of scorpion
A vehicle was bought by me, Mr De Villiers more than 2 years ago and I gave the vehicle back within 3 days of buying it. I approached scorpion who allocated a lawyer that gave poor feedback to me. Eventually after a year the lawyer said she is not affiliated with Scorpion anymore. For 2022 I have been waiting and attempting contact with scorpion but they dont phone back. The car was registered in my name after I returned it and now I have fines in my name where they do not allow me to renew car license of my current vehicle. Scorpion is quiet and difficult to get to. The relevant people is never available when I do get through on the phone and they cannot give me an Afrikaans speaking person when I ask. I now need proof from the lawyers that I can use to show that the vehicle in question is not in my possession and therefore I am not liable for the fines in my name.

Tje complaint in question happened around August 2022 to date I have had no positive response I telephonically contacted scorpion legal only to be told that the department dealing with insurance complaints will deal with the matter and wil contact me however to date I NEVER was contacted. How do you guys and your team selling rubbish to me as a client at the end I waited for my policy documents and you keep on debiting my account but when I have requested help from you guys you don't respond. I'm still waiting for my policy documents and valid way to register my profile to clients portal, I'm still in the dark.

Poor Service delivery
I lodged in a complaint with scorpion legal in May 2022 and was assigned an attorney in the KZN branch. Its now almost end of August and still nothing from them, the company is very fast and on time at debiting monthly premiums but cannot be there when legal assistance is needed. Staff are quick to defend themselves when you complain about them and their poor workmanship/ poor service delivery. There is no direct email for the attorney that is supposedly helping me i am constantly being answered by a machine every time I send an email and their lines are never answered when you call them. The Company has failed me as a client what are we paying them for if they can't assist when they are needed.

My name is Asraf Daniels ID NO [protected], policy number 3989617, I have to be explained why my rights cannot be fought for in this matter against wrongful arrest and detention I have called the call center relating my unlawful arrest and detention and requested to instruct an attorney for civil action against the south police services, whereupon i was disclosed by the legal department that scorpion legal does not cover such cases, what is subject for your advertisement to explain that scorpion legal will fight against unlawful arrest and detention, now that this happened to me in respect of my rights, I am told that my policy does not cover matters in this regard.
Desired outcome: I would like to civilly sue the minister of justice for my rights that has been proven to be Violated
Why does this scorpion legal advertising and advertisements on various platforms disclose that they will fight for you in respect of the civil rights, and then when you do appear to have these Violated rights taken away from you, they make you understand that you do not have this opportunity to do so
To get an Attorney
I did have an concilliation on 23.05.2022. The employer pitch up without a mandate and could not give an answer. The Commissioner give an certificate that the case was not resolve.
From 23.05.2022 i struggle to get an attorney from Scorpion who can assist me with the arbitration. There is almost a month left.
I try so many times to contact you but without any success.

Bad, poor service. I have lodge a legal matter with them more than a month ago.
Finally got a call that they will help me as the person helping me said that she will go leave and then first thing when she comes back she will help me. Well she came back from leave and I had to call and call many off times. She emailed my documentation to the wrong email address. How is that even possible as they ask so many security questions each time one makes a call which includes email address for verification purposes.
Talked to this person again to ask for documentation and gave my correct email again, yet still have not received any email.
Poor service too say the least.

My mater can't be resolved after 3 years im strugling to get rid off, there is a Court Order out in this case where I must received the money.
