I have audio files of Schumacher employees talking about doing it wrong intentionally. Video of chip lying several times about insulation. Schumacher employees lied about where the walls come together and how it would be insulated. They omitted insulating those sections and tried to cover it up. I’ve got pictures of where they had to drill holes and fill with foam.
No quality control. If they tell you they have it it’s not effective and I could say from my build a lie. Had to call and complain before I saw anybody about quality.
Company is second rate at best.
Warranty person tried to get out of everything that needed to be fixed. Had to bring in management and embarrass them. Through the warranty guy out of the house only to have his supervisor beg to let him back in to fix things.
Requested Mr Schumachers phone number twice and can assume the literature is a written lie. Denied both times I requested it.
Second rate is too good.
This stuff is just the top of the pile.
Avoid this company at all cost. They have a chip on their shoulder and think they do no wrong. You will need to start complaining from the beginning and you better start hard.
They will tell it passed code and whatever else is wrong is just too bad.
You will have to be quality control.

That is a nightmare, but I respect you for collecting hard evidence like audio and video. Most people just vent. You did the smart thing by documenting everything. Now take those files and post them everywhere you can. Names, dates, the whole timeline. Make it impossible for them to hide behind promises. You were forced to be your own quality control, and that sucks, but your proof is gold.
