Sceptre TV

I bought a Sceptre tv in November of 2021. Within 6 months there were lines of different colors all across the screen. Couldn't return to Walmart so contacted Sceptre where I found it is the buyers responsibility to pay for the UPS shipping to send back to them. They would not even approve my return because after I filed on the warranty then they contacted me to say I need to send them a picture of what the screen is doing. At this point I have already painstakingly boxed the faulty TV back up and I tell them I'm not unboxing it to send a picture when they should've asked for a picture when filing the warranty. So my mother bought me another of the same exact tv. I have had this tv for SIX whole weeks and there is already a black line horizontal across the bottom of the screen. So as of now we are out nearly $800 and 2 faulty tvs in less than 10 months. Will never ever buy a product from them again. They refuse to do what's right and sell junk.

Sceptre tv

So 10 days ago July 11th my TV screen went black the blue indicator light comes on when you turn it on and so does the sound but the screen will not come on it'll slightly flicker for just a second and then it's black again I bought a warranty on this TV and everything please help replace my TV

Desired outcome: Reimbursement replacement or someone to come fix it I have kids I'm a single mom everything's going up I can't afford another one

Sceptre Sceptre 30 inch curved computer monitor

This is not about or against your product. I recently ordered one off of Amazon, and much to my horror, it was a used product. So I shipped it and requested for a refund. Now, my question to you is this: What are my chances of getting a brand one? I do not want to go back to Amazon. I don't want to deal with second and third parties. Can you be kind enough to answer my question?

Desired outcome: I would like a brand new monitor.

My wife bought our Sceptre tv about 3 or 4 year ago at Walmart,and the picture is just as pretty and sharp today as it was when I took it out of the box and hung it on the wall. I will thank God for the quality of this tv that we have, and I pray it will last 20 more years. I’m grateful for the color, sharpness of the picture. It could use a little bit better speakers for the sound, it’s just not got the volume that it should have.

Sceptre Sceptre 50" class 4k uhd led u515cv-u

I purchased my TV from Walmart on July 17, 2021. About a couple of weeks later, I began to see a rectangular spot near the right of the picture, about 3 x 3 inches, but I thought it was due to discoloring of the hold movies I was watching. Then I began to see some moving shades of color, but it really took me about a month to realize what was really happening because that 3 x 3 spot started to grow but it was to detect because it almost seemed like the spot would be there and then gone again depending on the colors. But once it got larger I contacted the company in September 10, 2021 informing them of the issue and I sent them some pics which prompted them to ask me to send it back. So, they sent me a paid return label. When I was about to prepare to send it back, I noticed that the original mailing box was damaged from shipping so I notified them again on September 19, 2021, that the original was damaged so the client rep stated that she will send me out a new box. I also informed them on September 15, 2021, that I did not want this TV if you have to repair it. I told them either give me my money back or ship me a brand new tv because I cannot see keeping a "new" TV that actually became faulty within 2 weeks of receipt of the "new TV" and it having to be fixed. Any event, I waited for the box to be sent and never received the box until late December. Now I'm just tired and done having to go through all of these hoops for what this company is calling a brand new tv when I've been buying new tv's for 40 years and have never had any issues. Now that 3 x3 spot is now halfway across to the middle of screen. Purchased at Walmart as a new tv on July 12, 2021, Serial #M38W505BDPC266, RMA #[protected], Invoice #219150001R_CS Model 515CV-UMRD Ver#PRTV58GA

Desired outcome: I never received a formal apology for all of what I must go through and for this flawed tv. I want my money back and a formal apology in writing.

Sceptre Sceptre model X32

I purchased two of the exact tvs for my two teenage sons, both worked for several months before going out within few weeks of each other. Blue light comes on that should signal it's in use but no sound and no picture. Tried all the troubleshooting tips and will just have to trash them. Waste of money!

It barely does anything...a major rippoff only a few apps will work right with one gig of ram that and the slowest processer ever...the screen is a scratch pad...it's obvious you built the worst possible quality ever...my ten year old won't even use it .I've offered to give it away and no one wants it...you have designed the worst pen plastic crap ever made

Sceptre tv

purchased tv with first stimulas payment . Remote stopped working, after several attempts to change batteries no luck something must be wrong internally model #m15n435bdh0341. spoke to a customer representative 3-4months ago he said I'D recieve a replacement in 3-5 days. Has'nt arrived. My phone #is [protected]. Limited computer skills, would appreciate a phone call. Please rectify this situation. My next check is due would like to do business with you again.

Sceptre TV

TV was bought in march 2020 and cost 300 went out july 2020 sent it back and nothing was said about me having to. Pay 800 to ship it back which if I knew this I wouldn't have bought this brand or sent it to them and called and they said bill was taken care of but nobody has paid it which is wrong if I knew this$300 tv cost $800 I would bought a couple of tv

Sceptre My 55 inch sceptre tv

My volume keeps going up and down by itself I changed batteries plenty of times I have even left the batteries out of remote and bothing is resolved it still happens... I have unplugged everything and reset it all. I also went into settings and turned th arl off... What else can I do?

Sceptre Warranty handling on TV products

I had what I have found is a common problem with Sceptre TVs; power supply failures. I purchased a 50" Sceptre TV only 9 months ago and it died suddenly this week. I have been trying to contact their Customer Service for days now and it is like going to the dentist only more painful. The 800 number I called had a bunch of canned ads on it and never got through to anyone. Second number was a charged call and got through but received a message that "sorry, all the lines were full and if you press "0" we will call you back shortly. Waited several hours with no return call. Called the next day and after waiting almost an hour AGAIN, finally got to an operator who transferred me to another department - got an immediate busy signal; Called right back a 2nd time; got cut off. Multiple calls to the company but never got to talk with anyone. Also I found that the only warranty they have is to ship it back to the factory "IN THE ORIGINAL BOX AND PACKING!" Who keeps there boxes after installing a new TV? Terrible warranty, terrible customer service / support and a terrible company.

Sceptre Sceptre tv customer service

I'm having a problem with my Sceptre TV. I tried to call the 1-800 number numerous times. Every time I call the recording says no one is available and they want you to leave a message. I think that's ridiculous. I would like to be able to call and speak to someone in technical support. I left a message a week ago and still haven't received a call back. I left a second message last night and again haven't heard from anyone. I would rather speak to someone directly in technical support opposed to sending an email or chatting with someone online but I guess it's not an option to call the company and speak with someone. Worst customer service ever.

Sceptre tv

My tv I bought from Wal-Mart before Christmas the screen is gray and is blocking the pictures the sound will not come on. Will you help me with this or are you going to say we are sorry for your loss of your tv . I pray you can help me with this seriously bad problem. Please please make this problem right. My email is [protected]@gmail.com i will also be calling Monday morning. I also keeps say hgmi2 and I did not have the remote in My hand! Now you know this tv is out to lunch and the gray screen is making it mad! Please please help i worked too hard for a tv and now this O look forward to it response. Belinda Nicholas

My 32" Sceptre tv comes on by itself without anyone turning it on with the remote. This usually happens in the very early morning hours. The timer is not set so this is not the situation. Has anyone else had this particular problem? Debbie

Sceptre sceptre monitor

Worst customer service and faulty products.

I got this monitor and used it only a couple of time as a third monitor. To my surprise one fine day when I tried to turn it on, it showed the screen showing all kinds of lines with nothing visible from my computer. I tried reaching out to the customer support and sent them pictures as well but their service is so very bad they immediately responded saying there is a physical damage to the monitor. When I tried to clarify that there has been no damage, since I even had the front cover on the monitor not removed and I never moved it anywhere, they did not respond. When I called them again they said there has to be a physical damage if not by you then may be when it was delivered (and it just started showing signs now). Wow. What an explanation.
I am never going to buy anything of this brand, ever.

I called because my tv started glitching and the guy that answered the phone was so [censored]ing cocky and rude he kept asking me was I sure or assuming that the tv was the problem no help nothing but attitude never again will I buy this brand rca was so helpful with an issue with a tablet it wasn't even real but it's ok garbage for the sceptre tv keep the money I will never recommend this tv you can contact me [protected] Tasha Carter

Sceptre 32" tv.

Am writing this to voice my disappointment with your tv. My daughter bought me this for christmas and don't have the heart to tell her what a piece of junk this tv is. I have never heard susch poor sound quality ever in this day and age of electronics. I have had transistor radios from 40 years ago that have better quality than this. The sound is so tinny that it's almost impossible to listen to. What stinks is that now I have to buy a tv our of my pocket to replace this piece of junk. I will surely inform everybody I know to stay clear of anything made by sceptre. I will probable give it to someone who could use something that doesn't require sound.

This tv never worked right after I took it out of the box. I had to go on live chat and explain what was going on. He figured out it could be the connector where the cable wire screws onto the back of the tv. They sent me a new one and the fixed the problem. Good thing it was something I could myself. As far as the volume in concerned I had this tv in my bedroom and I have it on all night long so I kept the volume low as not to disturb the neighbors. Today the tv in my living room bit the dust so I put the tv I had in my bedroom into the living room. I couldn't believe how poor the quality of the sound was on this. The more you turn it up the worse it gets. I've had 30 year transistor radios that had a 100% better quality. Really surprised the quality of this tv was so bad, especially in this age of all the new electronic stuff out there.

I purchased this TV from Wal-Mart.com on Oct 5, 2016 along with a service plan. The TV screen started going blank after about 2-3 hours of watching. Complained to Wal-Mart for an exchange which they stated that while I paid for the service plan, this does kick in until he manufacture warranty expires in 1 year > Contacted Jim from Sceptre Technical support. Jim was very rude and acted like I was an idiot when I explained the problem. I asked to speak with a supervisor, Jim said none was available and he eventually hung up the phone.

Sceptre tv screen is black

My tv isn't even 2 years old. Have been having a problem with the tv screen being black when turning on. It would take up to several hours before the tv would actually turn on. After check on other complaints I see this is a common problem. Can this be fixed or is my money just wasted on this tv? Since it's a bedroom tv I would estimate there is less than 100 hours on the unit.

Sceptre 32 inch hd lcd tv

I ordered 2 sceptre tv's from walmart on november 22nd 2012. I also purchased the extented warranty from walmart. For both.
One tv died just six months after purchased, so sceptre either replaced it or fixed it. I am not sure. Then it died again about a year later. Same issue. It would not turn on. They suggested we unplug it and wait and then plug it back it. Which is really just a band-aid and just buys them time for the warranty to run out. We had it replaced by walmart's warranty.in the mean time the 2nd tv was on the "band-aid" fix of unplugging and re-plugging for a couple of years and then it finally would not turn on not matter what in march of 2016.
I called sceptre and they said it was most likely the power board, and they could sell me one for 100.00, since my warranty ran out with them and walmart and they would not fix it for free. I got them down to 50.00, but I still felt it was a rip off, since this is a known problem and they should just do a recall on their tv's. After I received the power board, it did not fix the problem and they would not accept a return, because they said it should have fixed the problem. So the tv is now in the trash. I will never purchase a product from this company again. I feel like they purposely make their tv's die after 2 years or less, so you have to buy another. They kept telling me it would be cheaper just to buy another one of their tv's from walmart, than it would be for them to fix it.
It would be nice if they would replace the tv or at the very least give me my 50.00 back for the board that did not fix the problem. I realize their tv's are less expensive than the other mfg's but they should last longer than 3 -4 years, with out having to get them replaced every 1-2 years.
