I'm writing this review to share my terrible experience with ScalaCube. I'm not one to usually leave reviews, but I feel like I need to warn others about this company. First of all, their advertising is completely false. I purchased a server from them because they claimed that it was cross-platform compatible. However, after I had already paid for my subscription, I found out that it wasn't actually cross-platform compatible. This was extremely frustrating, especially since the option was still available in the server settings.
To make matters worse, their customer service was terrible. The only positive thing I can say is that they responded quickly to my help tickets. However, their responses were completely unhelpful. They didn't ask for any further information to help me with my problems, and they didn't actually solve any of my issues.
Finally, I was extremely disappointed to find out that they don't offer refunds. I thought I had seen somewhere on their website that refunds were possible within a certain time frame, but apparently that's not the case. Even though I had only had the server for three days and hadn't even used it, they refused to issue me a refund.
Overall, I would strongly advise against using ScalaCube. Their false advertising and poor customer service make them a terrible choice for anyone looking for a reliable server provider. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration and look elsewhere for your server needs.
