Saia review: Bait & Switch - Hidden Fees

I have been shipping with Saia for years, my driver Bruce has been wonderful and so kind. Sais was my preferred shipper until this last shipment. My broker provided me the quote as always, the shipment was delivered on time, but then when the invoice came it included a special grovery tarriff that inceased it almost 70%! If I would have known that I would have chosen one of the other carriers in a heartbeat. I did some research and found this crazy fee for picking up or delivery to food or beverage warehouses, but was never quoted up front. In fact it was the first time this fee was ever assessed. I will no longer be using Saia for my company's shipments.
