Well i just recently moved to Ohio with my fiancee and of course i am in desperate need of a job. His mom had found the ad in the paper and said maybe i should give it a shot. So of course i did. When i called i got a answering machine...first clue...Left my name and number and asked for a return call. I got it the next day and she said that i could have an interview the following day.Though when i asked more about what the company did all she would say is that i would learn more about it in my interview. She did tell me that they were hiring for managers with NO experience and NO schooling. red flag number 2. We set up the interview and of course i was thrilled that i could be making $4, 000 a month if not more and be a manager at only 22! So i went in and they went through this whole process of showing me how their products worked and what-not. I was impressed by one thing that i hadn't seen but otherwise not very impressed. Then the actual interview by a 'regional manager' Jay Urhick or some crap. He hardly looked over my application and asked no questions about previous employment or even ask for references. Even when i would talk about my previous employment he just kept on talking acting like he had better things to do...maybe other people to try and scam. But after he said i defiantly had the job he threw the fact that i needed $165.00 fully refundable deposit for a training kit and wouldn't even tell me what's in it! Me being as stupid as i was tried to get together the money when i decided to actually check it out online to see if this was way too good to be true. Of course then i found all the reports on multiple sites. I even went as far as going to their site they give you...safetyenterprises.net. It's nothing more than a high schoolers project in a computer course. I can't say that haven't thought this through...they defiantly have but it's not right to prey on the young and people who are desperate for work right now because of our economy being the way it is! So my advice is to stay FAR FAR FAR away from this company.

I am in agreement with the last person, I worked for Vector Marketing as well... Paid the 165.00 for my Cutco knives kit, ran out of referrals and barely made my money back, I am scheduled to go back to Safety Enterprises for my Management training course this thursday at 4:00 eastern time. I will be using a money order and I will be submitting my receipt to my attorney, and recording the conversations at the Management seminar. If it is a scam, I will post another comment briefly. Anyone else on the same step as me I recommend not to stop at this page in your studies, there is only one well written comment from somebody who has actually made it through the process.

I have been at safety enterprises for 2 weeks now and am almost done selling the product. I, as does everyone, kind of new from the ad in the news paper what kind of job this might be. When I went into the interview, I was confused and was perplexed by the amount I would need to put down for the security deposit. I did it and like I said, am almost done with the first step. I like it. Is it challenging to sell the stuff? Maybe a little but if you really want something you can go after it. I really like it and I like the ppl. I am a nursing student who has been out of a job for a few months and was broke after giving the security deposit but you have to realize that only the strong survive in the world of sales. When I went to the interview I asked tons of questions and they answered them all. I knew what I was getting into. You only get scammed if you don't ask questions and don't understand. This job is not for everyone. People are always looking for the easiest job out here and don't want to work hard to reap good benefits. If a job says you will be making $4, 000 a month, its not going to be easy... duh. If you are really that concerned about $165 don't do it! I mean come on... Assume your not going to get it back and try something new. We live in a jungle where the meak and mild are prey and the strong and arrogant succeed. It sucks that its like that but thats the way it goes. Look around and I promise you will see. Everyday your getting "scammed" out your money okay... Every single day. Gas, deadend job, health insurace or lack there of, foreclosure, McDonalds, your doctor, your president, etc. We live in the United States of America... Our whole governent is a scam. Hop in or get ran over. I wish you all the best of luck.

I had a interwiew today in eastlake for the same job. It was the same as everyone else said . Thank God for the internet. And I'm keeping my $165. That place was a joke.

I am so glad I decided to investigate this company before taking RTA all the way to Parma. This is the same kind of scam Vector Marketing was running. I just wasted bus fare last year going there. Thanks for reporting guys.

I found this ad on jobs/fortwayne.com with 10 "assistant" openings. When I got there I was told that "assistants" actually means "managers" and that it can be confusing. There were two ladies in an office building doing absolutely NOTHING.. just waiting to find more innocent people to scam I suspect...they had no sign with the companys name on it, I walked in.. got a half hour long spiel about FIRE EXTINGUISHERS telling me I could make 4, 000 a month, but people usually "make double that". When I asked about what my job duties would entail she answered, "this is a dream job, the best of both worlds, theres no long hours and only one piece of paper to fill out everyday." This did not answer my question, obviously. Then she sat me down in her "office" and told me "I really don't want to have to mess with the whole call back thing, I would just like to offer you a position today". I said yes, but had a really bad feeling. She then told me that I needed to come in the next day and pay them 165 dollars for a training course that any respectable business would have free of charge. I am so glad to have got on the internet tonight and read that others are feeling as though this is a scam as well. How do these people get away with this crap?!

I also found the add in the paper. I called and was not told about the deposit until I got through the interview process. I drove out of my way and took time off of work, just so they could ask me for money I didn't have.
