They straight up lie about when the stuff gonna ship and they be all like "yeah, it's in stock" but that's a big fat lie. Them sales folks just tryna make that sweet commission at the end of the month, that's all they care about. This all happened at the Safavieh store in ***.

I bought them Safavieh 26-Inch ***/Espresso Tufted Counter Stools (set of 2) on July 1st for $520.99. After 3 months, the chairs got all wobbly and weak. They're so bad now, I can't even use them. When I spend $521 on chairs, I want them to be strong and last for years.

Ordered a set through ***. I've had it for less than a year and the rattan started breaking, even though it's covered most of the time. I contacted customer service to see if I could order rattan from them. They said they were the manufacturer and I needed to contact the retailer, which doesn't make sense. They were dismissive and basically called me stupid. They also said I would void the warranty if I tried fixing it myself, which contradicts their lack of help.

I bought a couch in May and they said it would come in 16 weeks. It actually took 7 months and they brought the wrong kind. I've been trying to fix it for 4 days now, but the manager is always busy or not there. The designer is nice but can't help with the manager. They didn't say sorry or give me a discount or offer to bring the right one faster.

I bought 6 chairs from Safavieh Home Furnishings in April 2022 and they charged me a delivery fee, which we agreed to. The chairs arrived in June, and now they're saying the delivery charge is different. I've tried calling multiple times, but no one seems to want to respond. I've been dealing with *** and they keep giving me excuses. I ended up canceling the order through Amex, and I won't be doing business with this company again. They don't honor their agreements and their professionalism is lacking. Be cautious when dealing with this company.

Ordered three sets of chairs, but one set was noticeably different. Called the manufacturer who directed me back to ***. *** sent out a replacement, but the replacement matched the odd set, so now I had two sets of four chairs instead of the one set of six. Got another replacement... and guess what? It was different from the other two sets! *** has been great about fixing the issue, but I suggested to the manufacturer that they should review their quality control measures so that batches matched orders. They didn't seem to care. I understand that sourcing can be a problem, but having three sets that vary in color and make is just poor quality control by the manufacturer. I don't know what has happened to customer service in the last ten years, but it's starting to get ridiculous. I might just take my business to brick and mortar stores so I don't have to go through the hassle of returns.

I bought two end tables for our baby's room from ***, but when they arrived from Safavieh, they were all broken. The whole order was a mess, with smashed baskets and damaged furniture. I tried contacting ***, but I couldn't get through. I called Safavieh instead, but their customer service was terrible! They were really rude and didn't take any responsibility for the fact that the items were destroyed in their warehouse. Plus, the tables were supposed to be vintage white according to the description on ***, but they looked nothing like the picture. Instead of a white wash, they were more like a gray or beige color, and the tag on the piece said winter melody. Don't waste your money or time on this! Now I'm in a dispute with my credit card company.

I went to the Safavieh Home Furnishings store on 7th Ave for the second time to check out prices. I had already taken pictures of the prices before. I told the sales person what I wanted to buy, which was a sectional and a dining table. He sent me an email with a quote for the sofa, but it was more expensive than what I had seen on the tag in my photos. So, I went back to talk to a manager because I didn't trust the sales person anymore. The manager told me that the email quote for the dining table was wrong and that it would actually cost me $7k, not the price I had in writing. I had seen on the sales person's screen that the table cost less, and they had 20 in stock. The manager asked me to step away from the screen so he could "research" the price. After 10 minutes, he came back with the $7k price. I showed him the email with the different quote, but he didn't care and said that mistakes happen and they don't have to honor any quotes. He was really rude and condescending, saying "I don't have to do anything." This store is all about bait and switch tactics.

I bought a Safavieh lamp and noticed some white powder at a welded joint. I was worried about metal corrosion, so I contacted the company for help. I wanted to let them know about the defect and find a solution. I thought they would appreciate customer feedback to improve their products' durability. Unfortunately, my experience with Safavieh was disappointing. At first, I mistakenly contacted another company called "JONATHAN Y" and they were helpful and took responsibility for the manufacturing defect. They even offered an exchange. When I realized my mistake and reached out to Safavieh, their response was dismissive and accusatory. They said they couldn't offer a refund or replacement because I was past their return policy and the issue might be due to wear and tear. I was confused by their response for a few reasons. Firstly, I didn't know there was a lifetime warranty for manufacturing defects. Secondly, Safavieh made a judgment without asking for more information. Thirdly, the lamp showed no signs of abuse, and the only defect was the corrosion at the welded joint, which suggests a manufacturing issue. Additionally, lamps don't usually ooze, so wear and tear wouldn't cause this problem. Safavieh claimed the issue was uncommon, but then attributed it to common causes. This logic doesn't make sense. If my lamp has an uncommon problem, it could have an uncommon cause. It seems that Safavieh doesn't care about their customers or honoring their stated practices. Their lifetime warranty for manufacturing defects appears to be a fraud. They dismiss any issue as wear and tear and refuse to provide even basic assistance. I'm not the type to make a big fuss, but I was just seeking advice on how to fix the problem. Safavieh treated me as if I were trying to cheat them and didn't address my concerns seriously. It's disappointing that they don't value their customers or their products' longevity.

Ordered a gray rug and it's amazing. The price was a bit over $70 for the rug. The cost to print the return label is around $70.

Safavieh don't take me off their mailing list. I've contacted them 5 times within the last 6 months and I'm still getting advertisements in the mail.

I've been waitin' for 6 months for my furniture to arrive. Every time I give the manager, *** a call, he keeps sayin' it's "in transit". But as of now, he still ain't got a clue where it is. So, I decided to ring up the corporate office in Port Washington, and they just kept passin' me around to every dang phone in the company. Ain't nobody able to help me out.

I bought two rugs from Overstock made by Safavieh. First one I got on November 9, and the second one on January 4, 2022. But dang, both rugs started falling apart real quick, like in just a few months. So, I contacted Safavieh and they told me they only guarantee their stuff for 30 days, and after that, it ain't their issue no more. But come on, no rug should be falling apart in less than a year, especially when I took good care of 'em. I want my money back, plain and simple.

I bought the lamps from Target, but this company makes them. One of the lamps had some scratches on the side. I contacted the company to get some money back. In the first email, they told me to talk to Target. I did, but Target said they couldn't help because it's not their stuff. Target told me to talk to the company. I emailed them, but they ignored me. I don't want to return the lamps because they're already assembled and it would be a hassle to send them back (they're heavy and big). I just want them to reply to me and give me something for the damaged lamp.

I bought a bed frame from All Modern (Wayfair) like a year and a half ago. Last night, the bed just fell apart, which was super dangerous and really unlucky. I want a refund, even if it's just a bit, to help me cover the cost of fixing or replacing it. I mean, seriously, who would think a bed frame would only last a year and a half? I don't get how this company thinks it's okay to do business like this. I tried reaching out to them and All Modern, but neither of them wanted to help me out. They said the warranty was up and there's "nothing they can do". Like, seriously? So now I'm stuck with a $1,400 bed frame that I can't even use anymore. It's so messed up that I have to throw away this almost new wooden frame because they sell such crappy stuff that it's dangerous to even try fixing it myself.

I bought a Safavieh carpet from ***. The rug came with a musty/mildewy smell, probably because of the bad-smelling packaging. I hoped the smell would go away, so I put the rug on the carpet pad I got from ***. But even after 24 hours, the smell didn't disappear. Both my wife and I started experiencing congestion and headaches from the mold/mildew in the rug. Sadly, the new carpet pad got ruined. I can return the rug to Safavieh through ***, but the pad from Overstock was fine, so they shouldn't accept a return for that. I asked Safavieh to reimburse me for the ruined rug pad or give me a replacement, but they refused and told me to deal with Overstock. The carpet pad I bought wasn't from Safavieh, so I don't think this is fair.

We bought a motorized reclining sofa from Safavieh Home Furnishings for $4718 in October . After a few months, the motor started acting up. We contacted them multiple times and finally, a technician was sent to fix it. However, the technician couldn't repair it and said a new motor was required. They sent the motor from overseas, and the technician came again, but still couldn't fix it. They then ordered another part, and the technician made a third attempt, but the repair was unsuccessful once again. The technician told me it was a faulty product. After months of chasing Safavieh, I suggested a store credit so we could choose a replacement. It took them a whole month to reluctantly agree. We selected a replacement six weeks ago, but we haven't received any confirmation about the order or expected delivery. In the meantime, they took the broken couch and left us with a used and uncomfortable sofa. We call them every day, but nobody provides us with any information. At this point, I just want my money back. I've never despised a company more.

I bought a Howard Miller bar from this store on January 4. Dealt with manager Ray G during the whole process even though he put the name *** on the sales receipt. They said it would be delivered by April 5. Got a call from Ray on February 8 saying it arrived but was damaged. Then on March 12, Ray called again saying the cabinet still hadn't arrived. I called the corporate office and complained about the delay. On March 17, Ray called me back and said they would waive the delivery fee. On April 20, Panfilo called and said the piece still hadn't arrived. On May 10, I called and spoke to Krista (Office Manager). She said it shipped from the manufacturer that day and I should get it in 2-3 weeks. On May 20, I called Ray. He said it didn't actually ship on May 10 like Krista said. I already paid for this piece. I DON'T want a refund. I want it delivered. No more excuses.

I bought an area rug from Bed, Bath, and Beyond that came from this carpet dealers, Safevieh warehouse. it came dirty, used, and cut irregularly and not square with two angled corners instead of squared. I asked Bed and Bath to help me and they wanted only to have it returned but it cost me $50 to have the carpet brought into my house and laid down and another $50 to have it taken away. About $100 to have it cleaned. If I were to buy another carpet that would have been another $50 to put down the new one. I told them to give me money back, $150 for it since it was dirty and needed a cleaning. They said no; only $75 so I called the distributer considering it was coming from their warehouse and bed and bath never even saw the carpet I bought from them. Safevieh refuses to acknowledge that the carpet has issues. They refuse to look at it (I invited them to come to my home) they refuse give any credit on this. My only option is to keep a used carpet or lose money to return it.

I bought my Safavieh Burbank PAT7006C Patio set on April 06. It's a big box and I wasn't ready to set it up, so I opened it in early June. When I saw some cracked pieces, I reached out to Safavieh and they told me to take photos and start a case on their website. On June 12, I uploaded all the pictures of the broken furniture. I've been talking to a Safavieh representative named Elias, and we've had a lot of back-and-forth. On June 17, he had a list of parts that he was gonna replace and asked me to confirm and give my address. I replied and told him that 4 Chair Part A leg Frame had multiple damages. Then he acted like it was a new case and said it would take 24-96 hours for an update, but they can't guarantee any replacement parts. It's been more than 96 hours, and I had to call and email to get an update. These things came out of the box like this. What happened to quality control? I attached pictures of the email. I was gonna attach more pictures, but I can only do one.

I bought a sideboard made of mango wood with gold inlay from Target. It cost me almost $1,000, but unfortunately, it came with some major issues. The spots where the screws go in for the doors have six big oil stains. On top of that, there are missing pieces of gold inlay and a shoddy attempt to cover up another damaged part of the cabinet doors. All I want is to get new doors, but they say that's not possible. Target offered me a 20% refund, but I don't want the money if it means I have to settle for a poorly made cabinet. I want new doors and I'm willing to return the old ones. If Target had a better quality control team, this wouldn't have been an issue in the first place. Safavieh told me that they can't send me new doors and that I should deal with Target for a return or exchange. But I'm not willing to go through the hassle of packing up a 175 lb sideboard and arranging for transportation to send it back. I would even have to hire and pay someone to help me with that! The sideboard is still being manufactured, so they should have no problem making new doors for me. Why can't they just send me some new doors?
