I bought a rebuilt replacement cooling unit for my RV refigerator on July 1st, 2010. The unit does not function as it should, no cooling in the food portion and minimal in the freezer.
Jerry from RV Ice Box advised me thru a tech assistance phone call that he would replace the unit due to the problem. He said it sounds like something crystallized in the boiler area during startup.
Since that time (July 15, 2010) I have been getting a complete run around from this guy. No one else at the company can comment or give information to me, if they even answer the phone. He has promised me many times that the replacement unit was "going to ship this week". We are 60 days past the initial communication and no results.
He operates RV Ice box in Tennesee from what appears to be his home address (above). He also owns and operates Nucold Company across the river in Arkasas. From what I see on these blogs, he does all the work at Nucold and advertises as RV Ice Box. All I want is the replacement unit and to have a functional refigerator in my RV.

Buyer beware! This company is nothing but a scam & Jerry is a liar. Don't do business with them.
Me too, I am not a get even type of person but this guy makes me mad. They took my money lied, lied and lied it has been a year and $395 to learn the lesson. He bound to be breaking laws dealing with the credit card companies like that. You in my last call he cussed me and said I am sending your money back - that is the last time I talked to him. He does not answer calls. He knows all the tricks to keep your money and not send any product.
It had been past the 60 days on my CC, but I told them what was going on, and they issued me a credit, and are investigating further. The only one I know of that got their money from Jerry was a person who called the local news station in Morrilton. He talked with the consumer complaint division, and they were interested in helping out with doing a story. They advised him to call Jerry and advise him that he had one week to settle up or they would do a local story. He said he received a check by FEDEX in two days. I think it was station 7. Worth a try. I cannot understand how the powers to be in Arkansas allow this to continue.
I am having the same run around with this company RV Icebox. It has been 26 days since I gave them my money and I have herd
every story including it has been shipped and I was givin a fed ex tracking # that does not exist. I paid with a credit card and I will be at the front door of my bank on monday when it opens. I can, t understand why visa and mastercard are still letting him take there customers cards.
Jerry/James is the same person, they try to blow you off until the 60 day visa and pay-pal time has ran out for a refund, they will give you false ups shipping tracking numbers and say that UPS is lying to you, They state they will not refund the money to your visa because they closed that merchant account, NOT TRUE, , , I called pay-pal it is a open account but to file quickly for my refund...She could not elaborate on this but there was some concern in her voice...he states I will send you a check on Friday, Right... UPS stated they had not been to this address in over three weeks for shipments? sounds like they are just taking the money and not delivering, I filed a complaint with the Attorney General in Arkansas and they are very familiar with Jerry Collins... there are more complaints with BBB than you can imagine. He wont answer the Tech line or ck on order line but will answer th order line right away...CROOKS
wow - thanx for the info, I almost used this guy to repair my hard to find cooler coils via Ebay - guess I will look elsewhere for my repairs.
Wow... Wish I would have checked before ordering. I'm getting same run around since July 5th, 2012. Many good storries they are telling me. Last one was delivery truck was rearended and it would be sent out this week. I will lift all these people up to the higher power and let that source deal with them, especially Jerry. I'll let you know if I get my money back.

Dishonest cheats and crooks
Same outfit now doing business in Morrilton AR and still scamming people. This outfit does business on ebay and direct, using a bunch of phone numbers, names and addresses in TN and AR. The MO is the same, make a sale based on low price and promises, get payment, delay shipment, when you get tired of waiting and file claim with Paypal, they tell you they can't ship until the dispute is closed, they give you a tracking number and ship a dead unit, by the time you eventually get a leaking pile of crap, you are out of luck without chasing them down in civil court. Just crooks that should be closed down. AVOID them or loose your money, time and labor.
