Replace card or return money.
Purchased visa gift card from Kroger on 11/09/22. {100.00+ 5.95}. Called to validate but card had been compromised. Kroger would not help. Visa card services said card already uses in N.Y. I fax all my ion for and they would replace. Three weeks later I have nothing and now calls do not go through, I'm downloading info sent to them 11/12/22. Card in question is [protected]. Refund of $300 or a fully working gift card in the amount of $300 (plus additional gift card for endless hours we have wasted on calling them!!!)
We purchased several Visa gift cards around Christmas time as gifts to family. One gift card was for $300. Once we gave it away as a gift we were told that last 4 digits are not visible so therefore it can not be used for any online purchases. We took it back to Kroger where we purchased it from and tried to speak to a manager. they told us to call Visa. When we called Visa, with super extensive call wait time, up to 2 hours, we were told to go back to Kroger. Seemed as if neither Kroger nor Visa wanted to help us. We went back and forth. Eventually Visa told us to fax the info and they will send us a new card which they HAVE NOT> this has been going on for 2 months almost! ABSURD! They took our $300 and gave us a product that we can't use and instead of just sending us a new card, or allowing Kroger to issue us a new card they have FAILED to do anything so far.
We are highly dissappointed and want to get our $300 back or a working card that we paid for. I can not believe that a company like Visa is this incompetent!
