I hired Patrick Harrington, Esq. of Skoloff & Wolfe, P.C. to represent me in my divorce case. The negligent this lawyer made during his representation were obvious and odious:
1) He missed the discovery deadline. As my lawyer he attended the mediation meeting without even single page of my ex's financial documents.
2) He failed to inquire about and even notice my ex mislabeling of assets as exempt from equitable distribution;
3) He failed to file any temporary support relief for me when I was clearly a candidate for and required such relief;
4) He forced me to accept the grossly unacceptable offer. After I hired a new attorney to replace him, this matter got settled with the payment 5 times more than this lawyer's representation.
With so many violations of ethical standards and professional conduct in one case, Patrick W. Harrington should not get away from punishment. Everyone in New Jersay should avoid to utilize this lawyer/law firm.
