Mattress Expo reviews and complaints
Poor quality products!
We bought a queen mattress at Mattress Expo 2 months ago. When I bought the mattress, I asked for the same product that I purchased 3 years earlier. The salesman sold me a different product which I didn't realize until 2 months later. The newer mattress doesn't hold shape in the middle and the company won't exchange it unless I pay the $149 exchange fee (even though the product is defective). I would never buy a mattress from Mattress Expo. They are deceptive and they don't stand behind their products.
Misrepresentation, plain and simple
On 7/2/2006, Kirk Hudson sold us the Southerland Dreamliner twin mattress 'set'. We picked it up ourselves, but only after getting home did we discover that the mattress 'set' was not the expected mattress and box spring, but mattress and box platform--no springs--just wood, cardboard, and fabric! We'd never heard of such a thing, and he never mentioned it...
