On November 10, I submitted paperwork to Lincoln Financial to close my retirement account. I requested that funds be direct deposition to my financial institution. I have Lincoln for disability benefits through my employer. I have been waiting months for my claim to be approved. I keep getting one excuse after the next that the my physician has not included enough notes to justify my claim. This has been going on for months and notes keep being submitted only to not be good enough, so I asked them to contact my provider with specific questions to be answered, and they state they can't get ahold of the provider by telephone which is expected as a doctor is with patients all day and the notes they provide should be good enough. I have spoken with numerous coworkers who have had the same experience. I have never felt so scammed in my life by a company that is supposed to help their (paying) customers. They need to be investigated.
