Infinite Auto Protection Vehicle extended warranty

We purchased this vehicle extended warranty in Jan 2019 (will expire in 2024 or at 85,000 miles. My vehicle has 79,000 miles). The vehicle needs approximately $1900 worth of work (gas tank went bad) we opened a claim (they are periodically not taking phone calls so I submitted a claim request via email @ [protected]@infiniteautoprotection.com on 1/10/22 and quickly received back a contract [protected], took the vehicle to the dealership 1/20/22 (Ancira Dodge, San Antonio TX) the dealership emailed the diagnosis to Infinite and has never heard back. Both the dealership and I have been trying to reach them by phone and email since approx the 22nd Jan 2022 and there is no response. The phone either has a message saying they are closed due to Covid or they leave you on hold for anywhere from 15-50 minutes and then disconnect. After a week of my car just sitting at the dealership, I had to pay a diagnosis fee (which I did $169) and got my car back since they can not get a hold of Infinite (now when I call, I get disconnected almost immediately upon calling) and neither can I.

I have also filed a complaint with the attorney general in Michigan.

Country of complaint: United States

Desired outcome: company to cover our vehicle repair
