Eli Fine Cars reviews and complaints
sexist
I had a terrible experience at Eli Fine cars in Mississauga. I showed up to test drive a vehicle, he made a big deal about having to move other cars in order to get to the one I wanted to drive. He told me to just "look" at it and see if I liked it. When I came back from the test drive he told me the car had already been sold to someone else and he was "just letting" me drive it? It is NOT a good place to go if you are a young mid 20s female. These people were horrible. Very sexist.

scam
Do not buy from this guy. He is a complete scam. He is so disrespectful and will try to rip you off. All of his cars are beat up and he tries to sell them to people who do not know much about the cars and will take advantage of you. I am surprised he is still in business. I went to go take a look at one of his cars and he was completely stoned out of his mind, he has a bunch of little wanna be thugs haning around his lot with their pants low and their ### showing. He was extremely rude over the phone and in person. Anyways save yourself the headache and go somewhere else to buy a car.

used car purchase
They will lie to your face.
This is a follow up to the whole “no ownership” fiasco.
So round two began with the owner contacting me after seeing my initial post on the complaints board. The owner claimed that he had done nothing wrong and did not deserve any complaints against him. I explained that I was frustrated that I was not informed of any issues pertaining to ownership and that it has been a week since I signed the bill of sale and provided my deposit. The owner offered to replace the cheque he returned to me for my deposit for a certified cheque. When I came to exchange cheques, several staff members were around as the owner and his sidekick shared stories of used car transactions gone wrong. They offered me a decent deal on the same kind of car but a lot different. I said I would think about it. They pleaded for me to remove my posted complaint and I said I would consider it. Then the owner told me that they showed the other potential buyer a copy of the bill of sale that I signed so he knew exactly what I paid for it and that he offered $800 more and they did not sell it to him, but………………………..in fact they did. I went to get a temp sticker for my car today while I continue my search for another vehicle and I decided to purchase a used vehicle package for the vin number on my bill of sale. My suspicions were confirmed. The car was registered to the dealerships name meaning they did have the ownership the whole time and on top of that, the potential buyer who offered $800 more had the car registered since nov. 20th, hence the entire time the car was already sold while I was getting lied to and worst of all, wasting my time. If I wasted their time in the same manner and backed out of a deal, I would have lost my deposit. Therefore, I believe this whole situation warrants a formal complaint to omvic pertaining to this company’s shady tactics. From a business perspective, their practices are completely unethical and immoral to say the least.in essence, they used my bill of sale to get another buyer to pay more.

vehicle purchase gone wrong
I am dealing with another issue with these guys. I provided a cash deposit for a vehicle that was promised to be ready for me the next morning provided that I have insurance set up for the car and can pay the balance owing. So I put down the deposit friday afternoon and called my insurance broker to have the vehicle added to my policy then when I came in to pay the balance and drive away saturday morning, I was hit with pathetic excuses. Apparently, they were unable to receive the ownership because the acura dealership failed to provide one at the auction and the ministry did not have a record of the ownership provided from acura. So why would anyone post a car for sale if they do not have the respective documents to hand the car over? Talk about jumping the gun. Talk about premature... Anyways, today is monday and of course I called them because none of them will ever call me and again they haven't received the ownership yet and they'll call me as soon as they do. I asked if it would arrive by wednesday and all of a sudden they don't want to make any promises. Ok so thats how these little thugs do business... Super bad for business... Beware, you've been warned.

Guy is a piece of work. Eli sold me a Benz that had a ton of ecu errors within 200km, including ABC error for the active body control. Bought the insurance which wouldn't cover anything since the issues were within a 30 day grace of the insurer. 25k into a vehicle. Eli also wouldn't honor the other parts of the contract which included fob, seal repair etc. Got scammed, last time i shop there and i advise everyone shop cautiously. Of course, this is under the new company title of Streetsville Motors.
Went there to look at a cls 500, and got a speeding ticket while trying to test the engine. The worst part was that Jerry the sale agent said "this is the best road to do test it out there is no cops" what a bunch of lard. In any event it was my fault. This place is shady I must admit when I'm trying to communicate with Eli he is just surfing away on his phone paying me no mind. VERY VERY RUDE...THUGS for sure, shady from the get go BUYER BEWARE...
Bought a high end BMW from Eli...The car has been running great. It did require some work after i purchased the vehicle, and Eli was true to his word and stood behind his product -I took the car to Active Green and Ross just down the street and they repaired the car at Eli's expense -my experience has been great. BE SMART PEOPLE And have the car checked out before you buy it! Don't be lazy or trusting - due diligence and check the car thoroughly. Buying used is always a risk -even when you do your homework. If you can't afford repairs, then you better go and buy a new car with a warranty because all used cars will have something to repair.
amitsarin23, arjunnn, rickjamess, Joseph A, David Jane, and Peter Damen. Wow thats sad, Eli. Those are the only "positive" reviews from "customers" of yours. Whats most interesting is the fact that they only have 1 post each. These Posts. Peter Damen's double post is especially entertaining. But my favourite is when you write that you're "young and successful"... i'm in tears laughing at all of these reviews. you should maybe eat a bullet.
To all the people writing here and complaining about how much money they had to put into the car, why didn't you bring it back YOUR VEHICLE BACK under the buyers protection act. I bought a 2011 Dodge Ram and Eli was awesome to deal with, he made it known the truck was an a accident, but I still bought it. So far I like the truck no issues but a minor leak with the steering rack and pinion but I also bought the warranty so it will be fixed. The warranty does not cover up to 250.00 either that is the detectable that the buyer pays which was also explained at the time of the purchase, 2nd he does not own or the company providing the warranty, its a group called autoguard ! As a consumer you must read first and sign second. And just so everyone knows majority of used cars come from auctions or dealer trade in's its all a gamble. But at the end of the day I love my truck and will buy from him again in the near future.
I didn't buy a car from eli, but was thinking about it.
Good thing I googled the dealership. I'm just gonna have to keep looking.
I went to buy a car from them he was very unprofessional and rude smelled like weed so I just walked out.
Never again.!
Elis got some great cars for great prices. But if it seems to good of a deal... it probably is. Buyers should beware with any dealer. If you play your cards right and know what youre doing youll come out with what you wanted. Elis gets a thumbs up from me.
