Duralast reviews and complaints

I bought brake pads at Autozone on 9/7/23. FOR A 2002 F150.After I already had the one side apart I had to figure out how to use the old clips because there were none with the new pads. I went back on 9/8/23 because there were no metal clips that the brake pads sit in to hold them in place. They told me they don't sell them with the pads unless you buy the next grade up, and they don't sell the metal clips. Now how can you sell new pads that don't have everything you need to do a new brake job? I wasn't very happy and still am not happy about it.

Purchased the H5DLG battery from Autozone for replacement on my wife's 2015 Buick Encore. The next day I noticed a spill on my driveway (see picture) and wasn't sure if the old battery had done this or the new one that I had purchased. When my wife got home from work we opened the hood up to inspect and sure enough it was the new leaking from the top vent hole also pictured. We went back to Autozone and thinking that the first was faulty they replaced with another new H5DLG. After coming home from work the next day I inspected the battery as a precaution and wouldn't you know it, this one was also leaking. I do have a mechanical background so I began to sense that maybe the alternator on the car was faulty and overamping the battery so I had her take the car to the Buick dealership to have it checked out - the car checked out good. So back to this battery, I think Duralast has a bad product and I will not be replacing this one with another Duralast, I will be going with another brand as I no longer have trust. I'm not looking for compensation, I am merely passing along a bad experience with the Durlast brand.

My name is Quana Hilt and i was in the Auto Zone store on 116th s halsted Monday evening 11/29/2010 and i purchased an alternator and asked the worker if they can charge my battery for me they gave me a hard about doing that for me they told me to come back in 45 minutes to pick it up so i did that but, when i came back to pick it up they would not give it back to me stating that they did not see me walk in with it i was very upset so i called the chicago police department and they handled it for me and i got my battery back even though i had my original recepit. I have never beem treated so poorly in my life. I would never go back to that auto ever again and every one in there should be fired.
