I began working with this company at the end of May (2011) because it seemed like a good summer job, I was promised full time work, and when I was interviewed, the "branch manager" seemed to be capable of doing her job. collegiate entrepreneurs not getting paid

I worked for this company for a few weeks with my brother, and fiance. My fiance lost his grandmother and had missed a few days of work which is completely understandable. The following week my brother and I lost one of our close aunts, there fore we also missed a few days of work, I will admit that i was out longer then him. The greiving process does not happen overnight. when my fiance returned to work he was having a difficult time getting our branch manager ANDREW to bring us the required equiptment, for example kathy and toms house in kingston is still not finished due to not having a tall enough ladder and that job was stared in the begining of JULY it is now august 20th... so we moved to a new house in scituate to start. guess what same proplems. we didnt have enough paint to cover the house so andrew our branch manager told us HE IS NOT ALLOWED TO ORDER MORE PAINT... what were we supposed to finish painting the house with? and again one side of the house is too tall for a 32 foot ladder to reach, in which the 32 foot was provided to us from MY FATHERS FRIENDS PAINTING COMPANY THANK YOU NORMAN A RICK! If it were not for them only the first floor of the entire house would have been completed. THANK YOU DAD FOR LETTING US USE YOUR POWERWASHER AND FOR SUPPLYING THE GAS TO RUN IT, THANKS JAMES FOR BUYING PAINTBRUSHES OUT OF YOUR POCKET, THANKS DAD FOR THE LITTLE GIANT LADDER...

AND TO TOP IT all OFF OTHER THEN THE MAJOR MAJOR PROBLEMS WE HAD EXPERIENCED THE COMPLAINTS THAT WE FILED AGIAINST THE PERSON "IN CHARGE" WHO IS 3 YEARS YOUNGER THEN MY SELF AND 6 YEARS YOUNGER THEN MY FIANCE WE NEVER GOT PAID! MY NAME IS KELLY AND I CAN BE CONTACTED AT [protected]@YAHOO.COM IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PAINTER PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THIS COMPANY THEY TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS AS WELL AS THIER EMPLOYEES, IF YOU HAVE ALREADY HIRED THEM AND ARE DISSATISFIED PLEASE DONT TAKE IT OUT ON THE PEOPLE PAINTING ITS NOT THIER FAULT IT IS THE GUY WHO SHOWED UP FOR THE FIRST MEETING THAT YOU DONT SEE AGAIN!

I had a great time working with Collegiate as well. I got to work with my friends all summer, we did great work for our customers. My branch manager was always pretty quick to resolve any problems that occurred.

I actually had a great experience with the company... You guys must have worked with a "bad egg." I do a lot of work on Cape Cod and was able to keep my job all summer long. Sure, we had a few problems along the road, but they were always resolved and the manager I worked with was very professional. The customers we worked with were mostly happy (there are always a few a**holes who are never satisfied with anything) and I was paid well... piece work was awesome, I was getting paid almost double my base hourly wage because I was efficient and did a good job... sounds like you guys are just disgruntled workers who didn't do a great job and didn't understand how you were getting paid...

I got hired after you guys got fired and had to come out to that job and fix all the mess ups that were there, I assume from you guys. If you haven't done this professionally they had no business just leaving people out there on their own like that. I have painted for over 5 years and this is by far the worst company I've worked with. They are stiffing me too. I painted an entire house for them (Right, unlike that one in Scitutate you are talking about) and they have been nothing but a headache with paying me.
