I ordered a trial and paid postage. I immediately tried to call this company located in my home state. After days of listening to recordings, I sent the package back with delivery confirmation and a letter telling them that I had contacted my Credit Card Company and I will refuse any future charges. I also called the BBB and they have numerous complaints filed and stated they couldn't contact them either by phone or mail. Today I have 2 more charges from them billed as "VIT Certified Resveratrol($64.95) and VIT Live Lean CR for ( $24.95)" I have not heard of the latter one nor have I ordered that product, whatever it is.

Same thing has happened to me, know I have to go through ths dispute process to get my money... all of this after I canceled my subscription after the introductory product that came to me 2 times at @$0.99 cants each, anf them the other that was $4.95 this company is the buiggest scammer I have ever seen. this all has happened after I spoke with a representitive last week who assured me my account was canceled. I evben have a cancelation code to, but, yet they still mailed it to me.

I received my third order yesterday and there was nothing in the box except the brochure. I am already on your mailing list. the box looked a little damaged and I think the pills may have slipped out of the box. I would like another box sent, but please do not charged me again on my credit card. I just did not have any pills in the box that was sent. my name is carolyn morris, 703 12th st., grottoes, va 24441.

I also was charged for my free sample, then 14 days later I was charged $89.73 for xprs berry a product I didn't approve. i've called numerous times and have yet to talk to a live person.

I ordered the free trials, then I read their hidden terms, I immediately tried to cancel the free trials as I couldn't afford the monthly supply I had unbeknowst to me ordered by accepting the free trials. Im tried phoning, I tried online chat. I received no contact at all.
I have cancelled my credit cards. Imfeel this is theonly way to catch thrm at their own game. I am very reluctant now to order anything online, it has given online business a bad name.

I agree with most, I guess, complaints, Whether on not the products works is moot. It is their method of billing, to say nothing of the outlandish cost, that irks me. You have to look carefully, research diligently, to find you have signed up for a continuing subscription.
I did manage to finally talk with them and was able to stop future billings and get a RMA, (return authorization number). I will be sending the shipment back as it interfers with a particular blood pressure medicine. It remains to be seen if I get my account credited. The odd adage about, " You don't get something for nothing", still holds true today. even more so!
FWIW, I used the telenumber [protected] and hit 0 at every prompt. I even hit it when I was on hold. Something worked as I got through.

I ordered the resveratrol ultra for the free trial to see if I liked it. I didnt. it made me feel ill. so I called the company and asked to be removed. the guy on the other line said I need to get the cream that goes with it. I said I didnt want the cream or the pills. I said do not touch my cc as I know about this scam. I hung up. that was a few weeks ago. today I received another bottle of this and a whopping bill of $80. plus shipping and not only that, but they also sucked another $80. for the first free bottle. what a scam. nothing is free! free trials dont exist.. if it says free, please run... they will hit you hard.

Contact your bank and explain the problem (if you used a chase card you will have no problem) then contact the florida bbb (find them under bbb) be sure to refer to this site and the hundreds of people who have the same problem.
The resveritrol co. did not respond so the decision was in my favor

I also ordered resveratrol ultra, and had the same experience. I tried to contact the customer service line, but kept getting disconnected. I then called my bank to dispute the $85.00 charge for one bottle of pills, that was supposed to be a free trial! the were able to connect me with a representative who said that there would be no further charges to my bank account. I am wondering just how to stop these rip-off people from debiting my account each month! they are stealing and this is a crime! penny

It sounds like this company sells several health products (or claims to). I order the 15 day free trial of resveratrol. it had been almost a week and half, and I had not received anything. of course I have been very anxious to get started, so I looked up the number on my credit card statement and called. number would not go through. after extensive research, I found a customer service number, called, was on hold for about 10 minutes, however did get to talk to a live person. he claimed that they did not receive an order from. at any rate, I cancelled my credit card because I didn't even want to deal with it (any potentially recurring or additional unauthorized charges). I went back and looked up their terms, which I found humorously interesting. america is no longer a country built on small businesses, it's the web filled with scams. and the marketing/advertising is comical, but scary if you don't catch 0n. do you ever wonder why certain pop-ups are geared toward your interests? here's an example: I went to visiondirect.com to check out price on their contact lenses. now I keep seeing their ad pop up on several different sites. never had I seen it before. the ads are user tailored. anyway, read on if you'd like. I copied it directly from the site.

1. introduction

A. these terms and conditions, as well as any additional terms, conditions and covenants referenced in or made available by hyperlink in this document (collectively, these “terms” or this “agreement”), govern your use of and access to this website and any and all of its sub-pages (collectively, the “website”).
B. this agreement is intended to be governed by the electronic signatures in global and national commerce act. you manifest your agreement to the terms in this document by any act demonstrating your assent thereto, including clicking any button containing the words “I agree” or similar syntax, or by merely accessing the website, whether you have read these terms or not. it is suggested that you print this form for your personal records.

2. ordering products through the website; policies.

Note: all products come with a fifteen (15) day free trial period (“free trial”) as described in this agreement. if you have any questions about our free trial, please contact our customer service department toll-free at [protected]. our customer service department is open twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

A. free trial policy: our free trial policy requires you to understand certain important dates. the policy, and the important dates for you to know, are as follows:

B. beginning on the day that you place an order for a product (“product”) from the website, your fifteen (15) day free trial period begins (“free trial period”). the free trial period is calculated in calendar days, not business days.

C. you will be shipped a thirty (30) day supply of the product you ordered. generally, your product is shipped 3 to 5 days after placing your order. delivery time is subtracted from your free trial period, and will reduce the number of days allocated to your free trial period. if you want to extend your free trial period due to slow postal delivery or delayed pickup, you must call our customer service department toll-free at [protected]. reasonable requests (as determined by resveratrol ultra) to extend your free trial period generally will be granted.

D. if you are satisfied with the product and wish to continue to receive the product on a monthly basis, you need do nothing else. upon the expiration of the free trial period, your credit card will be billed for the full cost of the product that you ordered (i. e., a thirty day supply).

E. on the thirtieth day following the date you first ordered your product, resveratrol ultra will send you another thirty (30) day supply of the product, and the credit card you provided to us will be automatically billed for the product.

F. unless you cancel this service, every thirty (30) days thereafter resveratrol ultra will send you an additional thirty (30) day supply of the product you ordered, and the credit card you provided to us will be automatically billed for the product.

G. if you are not satisfied with the product and wish to cancel future deliveries of the product, you must call our customer service department toll-free at [protected] prior to the expiration of the free trial period and cancel your order. you need not return the product to resveratrol ultra if you cancel within the free trial period.

Please note, if you fail to call us prior to the expiration of the free trial period, your credit card will be charged for the product that was shipped to you.

You understand that this consumer transaction involves a negative option and that you will be liable for payment of product that was shipped to you, and future shipments of product, if you fail to notify us to stop supplying the product to you.

H. regardless of whether you cancel your free trial in a timely fashion or not, you will be responsible to pay the shipping and handling charges associated with your product (currently ranging between $3.95 and $5.95, depending on the product ordered). you agree that we can charge your credit card for this amount, and you agree to pay such amount regardless of whether you cancel your free trial in a timely fashion or not. no refunds will be issued for shipping and handling charges.

I. as an added benefit to you, resveratrol ultra reserves the right to temporarily reduce the price of each product to forty dollars ($40.00), without prior notice to you, for promotional purposes or to ensure that payment is received by resveratrol ultra. if resveratrol ultra modifies its prices downward as described herein, you will be billed at such reduced price until the promotional period ends or resveratrol ultra is assured of payment by your credit card processor, after which time the product price will be restored to its normal rate, or $87.13. downward modified or promotional prices may be restored to normal rates without prior notice to you.

J. cancellation of orders. if you wish to cancel future deliveries of the product and you are within the free trial period, then you should follow the procedures described in the preceding section of this agreement. if you wish to cancel future deliveries of product outside of the free trial period, then you must call our customer service department toll-free at [protected] and request that such future shipments be terminated. alternatively, you can send an email requesting cancellation to billing@resveratrolultra.com. when emailing us, please include your full name and address, as well as the name of the product(s) that you ordered.

Your request for termination, whether by phone or email, will be processed immediately; however, subject to our refund policy (described below) you will be responsible for payment for any product that has either (i) already been shipped to you or (ii) already been delivered to you at the time of your call.

K. refunds. we want you to be satisfied with our products and our services; therefore, if you are ever not satisfied with any product that you ordered, you may call our customer service department toll-free at [protected] and request a refund. our refund policy is as follows:

L. you may receive a refund of any product that you ordered up to thirty (30) days after your order is placed.

M. customers are restricted to receiving a single refund per product ordered. repetitive refunds are not permitted unless the product, as delivered to you, is defective. resveratrol ultra reserves the right to refuse a refund to any customer who repeatedly requests refunds or who, in resveratrol ultra’s judgment, requests refunds in bad faith.

N.in order to process your refund, you must supply resveratrol ultra with your name and delivery address. if you provide us with insufficient or incorrect information, your refund will be delayed.

O. depending on the bank that issues the credit card you used, your refund can take up to thirty (30) days to appear on your credit card statement. if you have any questions about whether a refund has been issued by resveratrol ultra, please call our customer service department toll-free at [protected].

P. credit card descriptor. by ordering products from resveratrol ultra, you authorize resveratrol ultra to charge your credit card accordingly. this authority shall remain in effect until and unless you have cancelled future orders of the products as described in this agreement, above. please be aware that the descriptor (or subject line) that appears on your credit card entry will refer either to resveratrol ultra or, alternatively, it will refer to the type of product ordered (e. g., resveratrol ultra). if you have any questions about the descriptor on your credit card statement, you should call our customer service department toll-free at [protected].

Q. modifications. we reserve the right to modify the prices charged for the products, or to add or remove any products, from the website at any time without prior notice to you. price quotes provided to you prior to any price modification shall be honored.

R. billing errors. if you believe that you have been erroneously billed, please notify our customer service department toll-free at [protected] immediately of such error. if we do not hear from you within thirty (30) days after such billing error first appears on any account statement, such fee will be deemed acceptable by you for all purposes, including resolution of inquiries made by your credit card issuer. you release us from all liabilities and claims of loss resulting from any error or discrepancy that is not reported to us within thirty (30) days of its publication.

3. representations; disclaimers

A. it is our intention to provide you with the finest nutraceutical products available, and we believe in the efficacy of every product we sell. you understand, however, that our products have not been evaluated by the fda, and our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. individual results will vary, and are dependent on factors including age, weight, diet, and exercise regimen.
B. you agree that you either have consulted, or will consult, with a physician before taking any of our products, and you will cease immediately taking our products if you experience any ill effects or unintended side effects of any product.
C. we endeavor to provide you with accurate information about our products. you understand and agree that the information we convey about or products and/or the efficacy of our products, is obtained from independent third parties such as news agencies, scientific reports, and scientific / research entities (“third parties”). we do not warrant or represent that such information is error-free, and we do not represent or endorse any third parties or the methods that they use to arrive at their conclusions. all product specifications, performance data and other information on the website is for informational and illustrative purposes only, and do not constitute a guarantee or representation that the products will conform to such specifications or performance data.

D. we do not warrant or represent that our products will provide you with any particular benefits, or that your results will match those of others who consume our products. individual results will vary from person to person.
E. you must refer to the manufacturer’s specifications or warranty documentation to determine your rights and remedies in this regard.

4. ownership; intellectual property.
A. the website, and all images and content at the website (collectively, “materials”), are the sole and exclusive property of resveratrol ultra or its licensors. no license or ownership rights in or to any of the materials are conveyed to you by virtue of this agreement or by your purchase of any product from the website.
B. the materials are protected by the copyright and trademark laws of the united states. unless otherwise permitted by law, none of the materials may be reproduced by you without resveratrol ultra’s prior written permission.

5. your representations. you hereby represent and warrant that:
A. you are age eighteen or older;
B. you have read this agreement and thoroughly understand the terms contained in this agreement;
C. any products you purchase from the website will be used for your personal, non-commercial use;
D. you will not re-sell, re-distribute or export any product that you order from the website;
E. resveratrol ultra has the right to rely upon all information provided to resveratrol ultra by you;
F. resveratrol ultra may contact you by email, telephone or postal mail for any purpose, including but not limited to (i) follow-up calls, (ii) customer satisfaction surveys, and (iii) inquiries about any orders you placed, or considered placing, at or through the website.

6. restrictions:
Without the express prior written authorization of resveratrol ultra, you may not:

A. duplicate the website (except as expressly provided elsewhere in this agreement or as permitted by law);
B. create derivative works based on the website or any of the materials;
C. remove any copyright or other proprietary notices from the website or any of the materials contained therein;
D. frame or utilize any framing techniques in connection with the website or any of the materials;
E. use any meta-tags or any other “hidden text” using the website’s name or marks;
F. “deep-link” to any page of the website;
G. circumvent any encryption or other security tools used anywhere on the website (including the theft of user names and passwords or using another person’s user name and password in order to gain access to a restricted area of the website);
H. use any data mining, bots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools on the website;
I. use any device, software or routine to bypass any operational element or to interfere, or attempt to interfere, with the proper working of the website, server or activities conducted therein; or,
J. take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on the website or its network infrastructure.

7. termination.
A. this agreement shall remain in force as long as you access the website, use any functions or features of the website, or order anything from the website.
B. we reserve the right to terminate this agreement without notice and/or refuse to sell to anyone who we believe, in our sole discretion, (i) has violated any of the terms of this agreement, (ii) is abusing the products or the services we provide, or (iii) is unable to provide us with sufficient information to allow us to properly identify the customer’s real name, address, or other contact information.

8. limitation of liability; no warranties.
A.in no event shall resveratrol ultra or its officers, directors, employees or subcontractors be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, exemplary, consequential or punitive damages, under any cause of action whatsoever including but not limited to contract, tort, strict liability, warranty or otherwise, for any claim, cause of action, fee, expense, cost or loss (collectively, “claims”) arising from or related to this agreement, the products, or customer’s use of the website or any product.
B. except as otherwise specifically stated in this agreement, the website and all products and services provided to you are provided “as is”, without any warranty whatsoever.
C. you agree that resveratrol ultra’s entire liability for all claims shall be limited, in the aggregate, to the lesser of (i) usd $500.00, or (ii) the total amount of money you paid to resveratrol ultra in the one (1) month period immediately preceding the incident on which your claim is based. this limitation of liability shall apply for all claims, regardless of whether resveratrol ultra was aware of or advised in advance of the possibility of damages or such claims.
D. the warranties and representations specifically set forth in this agreement are the only warranties and representations with respect to this agreement, and are in lieu of any and all other warranties, written or oral, express or implied, that may arise either by agreement between the parties or by operation of law, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. none of these warranties and representations will extend to any third person. some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.

9. indemnification. you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless resveratrol ultra, its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, independent contractors, telecommunication providers, and agents, from and against any and all claims, actions, loss, liabilities, expenses, costs, or demands, including without limitation legal and accounting fees, for all damages directly, indirectly, and/or consequentially resulting or allegedly resulting from your misuse or inability to use the website, or your breach of any of these terms and conditions of this agreement. we shall promptly notify you by electronic mail of any such claim or suit, and cooperate fully (at your expense) in the defense of such claim or suit. if we do not hear from you promptly, we reserve the right to defend such claim or suit and seek full recompense from you.

10. notice. any notice required to be given under this agreement to you may be provided to you by postal mail or by email. if notice is sent by email, such notice shall be sent to the last known email address that you provided to us, and shall be deemed delivered once sent. notices by customers to resveratrol ultra must be sent in writing to the following address: resveratrol ultra, attention: legal, 3007 greene street, hollywood, florida

11. force majeure. resveratrol ultra shall not be responsible for any failure to perform due to unforeseen circumstances or to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of god, such as fire, flood, earthquakes, hurricanes, tropical storms or other natural disasters; war, riot, arson, embargoes, acts of civil or military authority, or terrorism; strikes, or shortages in transportation, facilities, fuel, energy, labor or materials; failure of the telecommunications or information services infrastructure; hacking, spam, or any failure of a computer, server or software, for so long as such event continues to delay the resveratrol ultra’s performance.

12. miscellaneous.

* governing law. this agreement and all matters arising out of, or otherwise relating to, this agreement shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the state of florida, excluding its conflict of law provisions. venue for any matter arising from or related to this agreement shall exist solely and exclusively in broward county, florida, and the parties hereby submit to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts sitting in broward county, florida for such purpose.
* rights to injunctive relief. both parties acknowledge that remedies at law may be inadequate to provide an aggrieved party with full compensation in the event of the other party’s breach, and that an aggrieved party shall therefore be entitled to seek injunctive relief in the event of any such breach, in addition to seeking all other remedies available at law or in equity.
* assignment. the rights and liabilities of the parties hereto will bind and inure to the benefit of their respective assignees, successors, executors, and administrators, as the case may be.
* severability. if for any reason a court of competent jurisdiction or an arbitrator finds any provision of this agreement, or any portion thereof, to be unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remainder of these terms and conditions will continue in full force and effect.
* attorneys’ fees.in the event any party shall commence any claims, actions, formal legal action, or arbitration to interpret and/or enforce the terms and conditions of this agreement, or relating in any way to this agreement, including without limitation asserted breaches of representations and warranties, the prevailing party in any such action or proceeding shall be entitled to recover, in addition to all other available relief, its reasonable attorney’s fees and costs incurred in connection therewith, including attorney’s fees incurred on appeal.
* no waiver. no waiver of or by resveratrol ultra shall be deemed a waiver of any subsequent default of the same provision of this agreement. if any term, clause or provision hereof is held invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the validity or operation of any other term, clause or provision and such invalid term, clause or provision shall be deemed to be severed from this agreement.
* headings. all headings are solely for the convenience of reference and shall not affect the meaning, construction or effect of this agreement.
* complete agreement. this agreement constitute the entire agreement between the parties with respect to your access and use of the website and your ordering and use of the products, and supersedes and replaces all prior understandings or agreements, written or oral, regarding such subject matters.
* modifications. resveratrol ultra reserves the right to change any of the provisions posted herein and you agree to review these terms and conditions each time you visit the website. your continued use of the website following the posting of any changes to these terms and conditions constitutes your acceptance of such changes. resveratrol ultra does not and will not assume any obligation to provide you with notice of any change to this document. unless accepted by resveratrol ultra in writing, these terms and conditions may not be amended by you.

Just be persistent. They'll grant your request sooner or later. The no. I called was [protected]. I pushed myself of calling them like at lease twice a day. After a week, they finally responded to my request.

Call [protected]. It took 7 minutes for them to answer but they canceled my account with no further charges other then the .99 cents for shipping. They were quite nice about it also. They told me not to ship it back but to give it to a friend. I had an allergic attack within 10 minutes of taking the first and only pill I took.

Before I signed up for the resveratrol ultra as recommended by dr. oz, I read about a lady's credit card being charged in israel. I did not heed the warrning. I applied for the free trial of resveratrol, acai berry and colon plus on may 29th. I cancelled within the trial period and spokeeto one reprresentattve who assured me that everything was okay. since june 16th and even up to today I continue to be billed $88.00, $89.15 and today $40.00. one male customer service person was rude and two other mannerly ones convenienttly lost phone conact while talking to me. unfortunately I used my debit card. be warned. the scam is awful.

I saw from Oprah's twitter account that she disclaimed being connected with this acai berry products. Next time, don't be tricked with pictures of celebrities posted on the sites of these weight loss products. And call [protected]. I tried only once and my active account with fwm was removed.

Careful as I was, I did cancel immediately so as not to get monthly supplies. the double scam part is that canceling the order did not stop the online healthtrekker which is supposedly in fine print somewhere, and I am charged monthly, unless I cancel that also.

This is a tricky one b/c you don't have something physical coming in your mail but comes through your email which is discarded automatically as spam.

So, canceling the order did not cancel whatever else they had. i'm disputing it and reporting it to my credit card and the federal trade commission. if enough people will report to their credit card and the fed trade commission, we can put put a stop to this unfair practice: http://www.ftc.gov/ftc/contact.shtm

I also had similar experiences with acai berry ads and had to cancel my credit cards to escape with a ten dollar loss. I am not sure that dr. oz has anything to do with these companies; they use his name but he may not be associated with them at all. however, I do want to inform the board that dr. david sinclair did associate with the shaklee corporation to develop a product called vivix. there is no trial period but you can get a refund if dissatisfied. that is shaklee's policy with all of its products. my husband and I have used vivix for almost one year with amazing results and success. our distributor is mary ann pahmeier who has been in business for years. her email address is

The same thing has happened to me. my bank account also states that it is from xprsberry. I call and call the number listed but it continues to be busy.

These people say they're charging you just shipping for the samples, then charge you another $25 after ten days if you keep them! What a rip off! Who on earth charges additionally for something they've already sent, days after they've been sent!?

Mahal, which resveratrol company ripper you off? Its important to know because many of the companies making resveratrol are legitimate businesses. It's just a shame that crooks out there are giving the good companies a bad name.

They're not the only one. I ordered from "vital prime laboratories" which has a complete website looking extremely official and bragging about their terrific customer service. they said allow 4 weeks for delivery and here it is 5 weeks now, and i've tried calling their phone no. on the website 6 times, left messages with no response. I have faxed them 2 times no response. I have e-mailed them at their website customer service e-mail address at least 6 times and no response. I have tried to contact them over 10 days with absolutely no response. I even contacted the bbb and they are not listed, even though they are supposedly an llc in located in seneca, ny.

These people are frauds - watch out and definitely do not order anything from them.

I feel ridiculous for falling for this if you want to cancel your have ordered and want to cancel via the web the site is /www.myordersupport.com but it doesn't give you a confirmation number when you cancel the order. So when they charge you again and you call to ask for a refund they ask what your confirmation number was when you cancelled. Which you don't have because the website doesn't give you a confirmation number. I sure wish I'd googled Resveratrol scam before I signed up for the free sample. I'm down $170.00 and feel like a fool.

Do not fall for this scam! you will find warning after warning on the internet, even on the resveratrol site! you'll see a couple of mine there if they haven't removed them.
They suck you in and you can't get out while they keep charging your credit card $87. this month they charged my cc 2 times. june 2, and june 19, and I didn't even recieve an order yet (other than the trial bottle) I have tried to cancel and they will not co-operate. they have lied to me, saying they would only charge me $40 because the product was already shipped. 1 - it was not shipped - 2 - now they don't even recognize the $40 agreement (just to get out of this mess). so now my credit card has these two $87 charges on it. what's going to happen next month?
You know their main target are people growing 0lder. some of us on social security. that's a chunk of money for someone on a fixed income.
We have to fight back to keep them under investigation and finally form a class action suit against them. notify the attorney generals consumer protection dept., your credt card company, better business bureau, criminal defense agy., etc, any place you can think of to bring this scam down. hundreds of people are in this same situation.
I should have known when I saw the product spelled two different ways and then there was no packing slip. so we have no information to use.
This is deceptive and dishonest! let's not give up!
Fight them!
If I had used my debit card I would have been in trouble deep. there would have been overdrafts, fees and no money to pay them. I feel so bad for the people that this has happened to.
... and keep posting! especially on thier site! we need to warn...

I went today and cancelled my card because the company charge me twice 87.00 in 11 days I am charged again... scam... I also ordered this product on line thinking it was only.99 for a 15 day suppl. well I checked my account online to find I had been charged 87.13 plus, 70 handling fee. I called to get refund when they told me I hadn't cancelled in time. well their advertisment says 30 day money back guarantee but I can't get anywhere with these people. when I stated I wanted to talk to a superviser they wouldn't let me and then hung up. so buyer beware. stay away from this company.

I also had the same thing happen to my bank acct. after I watched oprah winfrey and barbra walters in there own words from video's endorsing the product, I thought how could I go wrong. I ordered the free bottle with no obligations and $.99 postage. one month later I was getting a computer call from my bank on a saturday from there fraud prevention program. I didn't authorize the charges on my acct. so the program canceled my card for me until I could get into the bank on monday to reorder another card. I went to the bank on monday and found out the charges came from an express berry in israel. I went home and looked online at the [protected] number that was given with the charge and I found a large amount of complaints against a product called reveratrol. the very product that I watch oprah and barbra speak so highly of. I was shocked and beside myself with this information. I still plan to write a letter to oprah and barbra to offer them the benefit of the doubt. they my have been bamboozled as well.
