First time to use this service. It was sent to me by the listing agent relator for a residential condo I want to lease. Is fairly straight forward to use, and is good to have an entirely online portal to submit a lease application, instead of printing and writing and scanning, etc... Seems good so far.

Simply the best. User friendly and quick response time. I pray to God we are given a chance to get into a better home with us having less than perfect credit. Unforeseen things happen in life and it should not be a reason why we cannot get into a better home. I will continue to use this service with rent spree.

This was suggested to me by a friend who has many rentals. It was very easy to use and very helpful in selecting a renter. Helped to weed out those who were unable to follow through and took all the anxiety away about handling prospective renters directly. It went smooth and quickly to get a new renter. I was waiting for a good single-source provider of tenant application and report services and RentSpree is it. Easy to set up on my side and - more importantly - applicants tell me that applying from the link in my rental listing was easy. Information and reports are comprehensive, helping us to make good decisions when selecting tenants.

This company is great. The website was smooth and easy to run through to get my application through. I have had so many issues on other application sites, and I have lost getting a rental from it. With all the terrible processes I've had to go through, this is by far the easiest and best site to do it from. I 100% recommend using this company.

Outstanding site! I am apprehensive about credit checks because they lower your credit score. RentSpree did not affect my score! They provided the score to the landlord the same day and I was approved for my new apartment. Very fast, simple, user friendly. And, I received my report, something that other companies do not provide. The best credit check experience I have ever had.

So easy and reasonably priced! It syncs seamlessly with my online contract software, TransactionDesk! I created the transaction in TransactionDesk, then opened up rent spree, and grabbed a link to send to my prospective tenant. She filled out the online forms without issue and I received the emailed report. She was able to pay the low background check fee from the link I sent. Soooooo easy!

This is a game changer for realtors. All I had to do while listing the property is check the box that state do you want the tenant to apply? The tenant is sent a link and you will get the email upon completion within minutes. The reports are super detailed It included a criminal background check, eviction report, credit history with the credit score and trade lines and rental history.Thank you for adding this to our platform it definitely make our life easier as a realtor. RentSpree was excellent. Last time I had a vacancy was 2013 and using RentSpree made the credit screening quite seamless. The electronic lease looks very interesting, and I hope to try it soon. I first started to use it without a Demo meeting and I ended up with so many questions. Then I did schedule a demo meeting that was very helpful to me. They answered all my questions and we had such an enjoyable demo. It is now one of my favorite tools I get with our CAA membership. Thank you.

As trusting landlords, unfortunately, we've been burned by irresponsible renters recently. Therefore, I went in search of a way that didn't cost a fortune to vet new prospects. RentSpree was a Godsend! The whole process was quick and easy and gave us real piece of mind about our new renter! The only suggestion I have for improvement would be to copy the landlord on everything the (prospective) tenant gets, as far as applications ... it just kind of left me in the dark until they completed it.

As someone on the end of putting in an application, I couldn't have been happier to use this place. The website is so easy to use and navigate and the appearance itself is both fun and professional. I'm not sure if it's standard for all landlords who use it, but one thing I especially loved was the option to tell a bit about myself! Even getting a copy of my report back and viewing it was very straightforward and detailed! And all of this was for a very great value, as I'm used to landlords and companies charging $50+ to put in an application.

As a landlord, I think this is a great service and the customer service is also great. When I had a question about whether e-documents had been delivered to my prospective tenant, I called and spoke to Victoria. She was extremely helpful, pleasant, and patient. This is a new service to me and I am from the generation that is perhaps not as savvy with technology. While I typed things in on my end, Victoria waited patiently on the line, even though I'm pretty sure it was the end of her work day. My problem was solved and she invited me to call her the next day if I had any more issues. I can only speak for the service I used, which was a credit and background screening, but because this was such a positive experience, I am certainly open to trying other services if needed in the future. RentSpree is an outstanding service and I use it for all my rentals When and eligible tenant is selected from my pre-app ( just basic questions regarding credit, income household size and pets) I send them them the Rentspree email link to apply and for the background check. The rentspree application gives a landlord a typed and thorough application that is easy to read and complete, no unreadable email addresses or phone numbers. The background check exceeds the other products I have tried. The credit report included details that the others lack. I only have pre selected tenants that I have met in person apply for my rental and pay the fee. I just adore electronic document signing and so do my tenants. The easy download of the signed documents ensures they always have a copy of the signed lease and saves tenants and landlords a lot of time.

So, I signed up for RentSpree to get my rent payments from my tenant. They checked all my info and bank deets, which was cool. My tenant paid the first month's rent, but then things got messy. It's been 10 days and the payment still hasn't gone through. I had to call them to get any updates, even if there was a problem. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend using this platform. It's better to steer clear of RentSpree.

The biggest issue I had with RentSpree was their lack of helpfulness when it came to solving any problems that arose. I felt like I was left to deal with everything on my own, and it was a real headache. Even now, I'm still feeling the repercussions of using RentSpree.

Overall, I found RentSpree to be totally disorganized and a complete disaster. I really regret using them to collect rent, and I would strongly advise other landlords to steer clear of this company. Trust me, it's just not worth the hassle.

did not do their job verification of employment scam Paid $30 for application fee and company denied my application for a rental home. This company did not check with my employer or the income with employer. The just stated income not verified because they didn't verify the employer and just decided to go with denied. It's a holiday weekend and some companies are not open to verify employment. This is not right for the consumer.

I had to use rentspree.com to apply for a new place to live. Rentspree gives potential landlords a "residence score" for potential tenants, but it is calculated using incorrect information and fails to include important details. Because of this, my residence score was unfairly low. The information on my credit report was wrong and did not include valid details that would have given me a higher residence score. They did not list my current employment of 14+ years, my current car loan/payment, my rental payment history, or my current address (from 2018 to present). The website claims to provide a complete overview of applicants' credit histories, including payment history, trade lines, inquiries, collections, and more. They also offer a comprehensive background check that searches over 200 million criminal records, but it is not available in certain locations. Additionally, they provide access to an applicant's eviction-related proceedings with resources from over 25 million records across all 50 states, but this service is not available in some areas. Rentspree presented incorrect information to a potential landlord, which has ruined my chances of getting this rental opportunity. The rent was reasonable and suitable for me and my family.

On September 18, 2022, I applied to rent a property through a realtor named ***. As part of the application process, I made a payment for them to check my credit report from TransUnion. The credit check was conducted by a company called TURSS. However, I believe they committed fraud by altering the first section of the report, which stated my credit score with TransUnion as 802, the same day the credit check was run. They replaced my credit score with a different score of 743, a drop of 59 points. This allowed the renting company to charge me more money, claiming that my score was not as high as I had claimed.

In addition to this fraudulent act, they made false claims about my credit history. They stated that I had too many inquiries, but I only have five, which is not considered excessive (as having too many is defined as more than six). They also claimed that I had insufficient payment activity over the last year, which is incorrect. My TransUnion report clearly shows a 100% on-time payment history with no late payments. I always pay the full amount owed or at least 40% of the total amount owed. They also alleged that the number of delinquent accounts I have is too high in proportion to the total number of accounts. However, I have never missed a payment, and I only use 3% or less of my total available credit. My TransUnion report shows a credit card usage of 3%, with $5,989 of my $203,463 limit, and an excellent rating.

It seems that they are intentionally providing false information to justify charging me more money for the rental. I am puzzled as to why they would do this. My credit score from TransUnion is 802, which is excellent. Why would they alter the information in the first part of the report but apply everything else correctly? This is a question they need to answer.

I have already disputed the charge of $38.00 with my credit card company, as they should not manipulate any official documents issued by the Credit Agency. This is clearly fraudulent behavior.

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with RentSpree. I spent a good chunk of time browsing their site, but most of the info I found was just plain wrong. It was a real bummer, let me tell you. I mean, who wants to waste their time like that?

But hey, at least the customer service reps were nice. They were polite and helpful, which was a relief. I guess that's something, right?

Overall, though, I wouldn't recommend RentSpree. If you're looking for accurate information about renting, you're better off looking elsewhere.

One issue that I came across was that the social security numbers of some applicants were missing from the reports I received. Now, RentSpree advertises a complete application copy, so I was a little confused about why this information was left out. It would've been helpful to have this information to fully evaluate the potential tenant.

Aside from that, the process was pretty smooth. I liked that I was able to access all the necessary info in one place, such as credit reports, background checks, and rental history. Plus, the overall layout of the website is user-friendly and easy to navigate.

Overall, while I wasn't completely satisfied with the missing information, I think RentSpree is a decent option for landlords looking for a quick and easy way to screen potential tenants.

. RentSpree ain't no good. They make you pay all these fees to use their platform to rent an apartment and then they don't even hold up their end of the bargain. It's like a bait and switch. You think you're getting one thing and then you get something completely different.

The process is slow and inefficient. They take forever to get back to you on anything. And when they do, the response is always some generic template message that doesn't even address your specific concern.

I tried to file a claim for a damaged item in the apartment and they denied it without even giving me a reason. It's like they make up the rules as they go along. I wouldn't recommend RentSpree to anyone. Save your money and use a different platform.

I'm so mad that I wasted my time and money using RentSpree. They should be ashamed of themselves for treating people this way. Don't believe the hype about them being the best in the business. They're awful and not worth your time or money. Avoid RentSpree at all costs!

So let me tell you about my experience using RentSpree. I was under the impression that I'd be able to submit my rental application for free if I did it within 30 days. But when I tried to do it, I found out that I actually had to pay for it. That was a bummer. So I had to go back and redo everything all over again. To be honest, it was a bit of a hassle. Now I'm not sure if I would use RentSpree again if I didn't have to. It's just a shame that I had to pay for something that I thought would be free. All in all, my experience with RentSpree was a bit frustrating.

They need to make it more user friendly and accurate. Overall, I wouldn't recommend RentSpree to anyone looking for a rental property.
