Red Wing Shoes review: Bad company - watch out!! They record all incoming phone calls.

DO NOT BUY FROM RED WING SHOES! I purchased a pair of Red Wings from their website... which did not fit. The day after I received them... I took them back to the Red Wing store in Shelby Township, Michigan (store # 839) on Schoenherr Rd. and Hall Rd. - and they would not take them back... and they would not issue me a refund. They were not worn... only tried on.

The Store Manager there is Rob Borkowski... and he would not do a REFUND, and the guy at the front desk Skip Thorne... was very rude also.

I took the Red Wings and left the store... and I called their Corporate Office to make a complaint. The company 800 number has a recording... warning all customers that they are being *recorded*. Why is that? Why do they find it necessary to record all incoming calls?

I was in the parking lot calling Red Wing Shoes... and after about 30 minutes and 3 phone calls to their customer service... another sales associate comes outside to my vehicle and tells me they spoke with their corporate office and the matter was taken care of. They reluctantly gave me my money back.

The Red Wing Company is located in Liberal Democrat Minnesota... and they are very bad to deal with. And... it's almost impossible to break-in their boots, even if you wear them for 1 YEAR... and destroy your feet in the process.

However... the Red Wing company does not appreciate their customers... and they are BAD people to deal with. Especially on returns.
