Rapid Recovery Team was super helpful and informative 'bout helpin' us fix our water damage emergency. I reckon y'all should give 'em a try if ya need water damage or mold remediation services. The technicians Carg and Marcos were top-notch, and even their Supervisor Flavio came to check on the workers. Elias, the account manager, was real detailed in his communication to ease all my worries and explained the process real good.

Not being able to travel to my condo in Florida due to the pandemic, I finally got the chance to go there at the end of December . Even though I hadn't been at my condo for many months and even though I did have someone watch my place, I arrived to a pretty bad mold problem in my condo. I called two companies for the mold remediation that was now needed. One place never even called me back, but I did hear back from the Rapid Recovery Team very quickly. I hired them to get rid of the mold in my residence. They did a great job. Trustworthy? Absolutely! Neat and responsible? Definitely! Courteous and honest? Oh yeah! Professional? For sure! Would I recommend them? With my biggest "YES"..."YES"..."YES"!

I wanna give a big shoutout to Rapid Recovery, they really saved the day when our water heater went kaput. Man, it messed up the whole house, and then the dang Pandemic hit! Can you believe it? I was clueless, didn't know where to start or what to do. But Charles and Ricardo, bless their souls, came to the rescue. They made sure we had a fridge and stove every night before they left. We couldn't even go out for dinner or shopping, but they had our backs.

Ricardo, that guy is a legend. He brought sample after sample until I found exactly what I wanted. And get this, even when I changed my mind, he didn't complain one bit. He just kept helping me out. The whole house turned out amazing, I gotta say. These guys worked their butts off, 7 days a week, during this crazy time. But you know what? It's perfect. I can't recommend them enough, seriously. They're the real deal.

In June , I had a water leak in my apartment and RAPID RECOVERY came out to fix it. In July , they said I had mold and part of the mold fixing was to remove the AC unit. After they put it back, fire came through my vents and one of the pipes wasn't connected right. They came back and fixed that. Then I found another leak, which was at the back of the unit and you couldn't see it easily. I had someone else come and they confirmed that the unit wasn't put back properly. I tried to talk to RAPID RECOVERY about it, but they're not answering or trying to fix it. They're just giving me excuses. They did agree to let the other company fix it, but there might be other problems with the way it was put back that they won't pay for because RAPID RECOVERY wants me to say they're not responsible.

Dry out machines were installed without inspecting the area for leaks. They didn't tell me the price at first, saying it was an insurance thing. Rapid Recovery Team does damage restoration for floods, mold, leaks, and water problems. They say they provide 100% customer satisfaction. They have a team of trained technicians to remove mold and fix water damage. On January 18, the day after I signed the contract with Five Star adjuster, they came to my house without telling me and said they were referred by Hector Riveros Adjusters. They installed the dry out machines but didn't check the area. They gave me a contract in English that they said was just a service contract explaining what they did. When I asked about the price, they said not to worry because they would bill the insurance directly, but they didn't. A few days later, I got a bill from Rapid Release for $4000. The adjuster knew that my policy only covered a maximum of $7,500 for the work, which also included remodeling the shower and replacing drywall in half of my closet and laundry area. They also knew that the policy didn't cover mold. The adjuster left without signing a release, and in March, my problem still wasn't fixed. I asked my daughter for help, and she found a plumber who discovered a leak in a pipe coming from the shower into my closet. The seal in the corner joint had deteriorated, causing small drops to come out all the time. Now, it was almost June, and because they didn't find and fix the leak, I had to spend more money to replace more areas. The company also mentioned in their documents that they suspected mold, but they didn't tell me or offer to fix it. In early February, my wife got a serious eye infection and had to go to Bascom Palmer Eye Institute for treatment and surgery. The infection might have been caused by mold. I'm refusing to pay this charge because the service documents were fake. They say they're committed to customer satisfaction and know the health risks of mold, but they didn't do any of that. They left my house without telling me about the mold, maybe because the insurance doesn't cover it? Well, at least they should have told me. I'm not happy. They left the leak and used equipment that wasn't needed because you can't completely dry out an area with an active leak. They made me sign papers I didn't understand, saying it was for service work, without talking about the price. According to their satisfaction guarantee, I want to cancel the contract and use the whole amount of money to pay for the whole remodel. They left my structure wet and let mold grow without telling me the process or giving me the choice to pay separately for the service. One more thing, my daughter sent them many messages, and eventually, the owner, *** Aguirre, called her. She told him about the problem and said she wanted to cancel the contract and get all the money back. She also said she felt like I was tricked into signing papers I couldn't understand. He threatened her by saying he would put a lien on my house and then hung up on her. Later, he accused my daughter of getting out of control, which is a lie. He was rude and talked over her during the conversation. Lastly, I'm not sure about the CEO, ***, but he speaks perfect Spanish. They serve many Spanish-speaking customers in South Florida, so why do they only offer English-speaking contacts?
