In a sense, you hate Wal-mart. A Wal-mart on every corner will always drive Target out of a local market. It isn't Target's fault (or any other store for that matter) that Wal-mart is driving businesses down.
It sounds to me like Target is hiring some customer service workers who speak the language of a large percentage of their consumer demographic. Maybe her job wasn't to help YOU find pots and pans, but to help a non English speaking shopper find something they needed. It's called marketing. More and more companies are doing it and you should get used to it. The United States does not have an official language.
Target doesn't just to a drug test, they also check your credit and personal background. They can retract an offer if they are not satisfied with your credit, even if your debt is just student loans that are behind in payment. It's ironic I know, you need a job to pay your bills, but Target (and many other companies) judge your integrity, honesty based on your finances.
You didn't pay for it. Re-gift it.
"HOW CAN A RECEIPT BE EXPIRED? I told them that they gladly took my green money in March, without any indication that I had only 90 days to return it if I planned on so doing!"
You know when you get up to register at some stores and the clerk says, "do you know about our return policy?"
Well that's because there are so many people like you running around with the assumption that we can just take things back when we're done with them or when we get around to returning them. If it doesn't work when you get home, turn around and return it (don't forget your receipt). If it breaks after 90 days, take it up with the manufacturer. If you don't want it anymore, sell it or give it away.
And above all, if you want high quality, don't shop at places like Target and Wal-mart! You. Get. What. You. Pay. For.
This is a good reason to call corporate and complain.
" He is not worthy to be place in such civi neighbourhood."
It's WALGREENS! Were they to bow to you upon entry? It looks like your "Civi" neighborhood isn't so "Civi" after all.
