Common sense, I actually have quit on a dime for something exactly like that. Taking a job in no way means I give up my right to be treated with respect, and for a manager to do so in front of a customer is unprofessional, and flat out ride. It has nothing to do with whether the poster is mature or not and everything to do with the manager not needing to be in a position of authority.

When you MTR from another store, it takes time. The other store has to release the items. The request can be sent, but there is no guarantee the other store will respond. If the store is only a few miles from the one you want delivered to, just get in the car and go there.
