We are terribly sorry to hear of your concern with your Washer. White residue on washed items at the end of the cycle that could have various causes, including but not limited to excessive detergent use, improper loading, wrong cycle, body soil – detergent reactions, wash temperature, and/or soil level selection. If white residue appears chalky and occurs mostly when powdered detergent is used or when detergent overdose is suspected, rewash using the warmest water appropriate for the garment. Although we try to use only the best materials and manufacturing processes available, we cannot guarantee that all components will be free from corrosion or deterioration. In general, whenever moisture comes in contact with metal, it presents an opportunity for oxidation to form. Oxidation of metal surfaces can also be caused by exposure to certain environmental conditions, such as salt air (near ocean areas) or chemical exposure (either in the air or from chemical cleaners.
In order to reduce the likelihood of rust, we recommend ensuring that the top stays dry between loads and periodically wiping with mild soap and water especially areas were bleach and other chemical cleaners may come in contact with metal.
