@NoTimeForIdiots--you obviously work for UOP and are an idiot, like your screen name...and you obviously can't read ALL the complaints. I only wish my daughter and I would have read them BEFORE she got screwed by UOP
@UofPhoenix--BULL! you obviously have not read all the freakin complaints have you. You get paid to say what your saying, you work there. My daughter got screwed and I almost got screwed
And with that said...
Hi
My daughter was ripped by UOP and we are trying to get more people that were ripped off in the same way.
Her story is that, she is a single mom and thought she was getting a pell grant, to not have to pay anything what so ever for schooling, Her enrollment counselor says in the notes at UOP, that he walked her thru the loan process and told her how much the pmts would be, etct...BUT he never did, he told her she was not getting a loan that it was just formality for in case she wanted a loan. She would have never signed up with UOP if she had known she was getting a loan.
I specifically asked my daughter, if she was sure she was not getting a loan and she said yes, it's all free, because she's not working and she's a single mom...well they screwed her and now they are saying that she owes $15, 000.00 in student loans and that "she signed" which she was TOLD to sign, that it was all formality.
If we can get enough people, we will file a class action law suit. So if there is anyone that was told, they would not have to pay anything on a continuous basis from UOP, and now has to pay those loans, please email us
our email for this issue we are using is: rippedoffbyuop@gmail.com
Hope to hear back from you
Sincerely
Sheila Robinson
I wanted to take a moment to let others know about "University of Phoenix"They are a rip off and I'm not just saying that. They ripped my daughter off and they almost got me.
I have been doing some research; checked out [redacted]
and
Complaints Board at [redacted]
There are so many complaints, even by the ex-employees. Now I'm sure that there are many students or ex-students that are doing or did just fine with them, or didn't pay attention to their scam, but there millions of others that did get ripped off, including my 22yr old, single mother, Daughter.
She was told by the enrollment adviser, that the paper work he walked her through was all formality; even when they go to the "loan" part. She told him, she did not want a loan and if she had to get a loan, she didn't want to pursue with them, He continued to tell her, to not worry about it, it's only if she decided to get a loan. He "assured" her is was not a loan...So "SHE SIGNED"
She would get statements in the mail from Wachovia about a loan, she supposedly had with them. She then called her counselor, who again assured her it was nothing, she did not have a loan, she has a FREE Grant and told her also that she was basically being paid to go to school when she received a check in the mail from UOP, that it was just extra money to pay for any school necessities.
So now, almost 2yrs and just 6months before she graduates, she gets a call from the financing dept about her "LOAN" that she's NOT suppose to have.
We have been calling and leaving messages and no one helps. They keep telling her "Well you signed" OMG! I want to F...ing go beat the living H...LL out of them.
So my daughter has an appointment with JAG, since she is still a dependent, and see what she can do with all this.
This whole thing is a mess. They seem to do it so that they can cover their patoots legally.
Here is what an ex-employee posted: [redacted]
These people need to be stopped, so if there is anyone else that this specific situation has happened to them, please contact me; as I want to get a class action suit going, if I can. This can't keep happening to people who are just trying to better their career, make a good life for themselves.
Thank you
"University of Phoenix" is ripping off, scamming, lying to and cheating people. They have ripped my daughter off and they almost got me.

He "assured" her it was not a loan...So "SHE SIGNED" Even after she read everything. She put her trust in this University of Phoenix employess that he knew more than her, this is his job to get her signed up and he did exactly that, but only lied in the process.
When she would get statements in the mail from Wachovia about a loan, she supposedly had with them. So now, almost 2yrs, and just 6months before she graduates, she gets a call from the financing dept about her "LOAN" that she's NOT suppose to have. She told the finance lady that she did not have a loan, and the finance lady, being as nice as she could, told her, that she shows, she does, that she might want to check with her counselor.
At this point, she made several attempt via email and calls, but did not ge a reply for ever a week, and once she did get a reply, it was when she called back and talked to the lady she was suppose to talk to, which told her, that she NEVER received any phone calls or emails.
My Daughter, went down to the school, to financing and the lady, that smiled with a smirky smile and kept telling my daughter, "Well you signed" OMG! I want to F...ing go beat the living H...LL out of the stupid people. She knows that she signed, but the fact is, He, the enrollment counselor, walked her through the paper work and told her to sign, to NOT worry about the loan stuff, it was NOT a loan.
These people need to be stopped. We are in the midst of gettinga a class action suit going, but, We need to get as many people as we can, with a SIMILAR ISSUE, to be a part of this. We are working with Warner Law Office, Patrick Warner [protected] www.pwarnerlaw.com
If there is anyone else that this, similar situation happened to them, please contact me and or Patrick.
This can't keep happening to people who are just trying to better their career, and make a good life for themselves.

First report them to your local Better Business Bureau. I also suggest you forward this
email to the school's P.R./Comunications office -- the address is
media@phoenix.edu. Be sure to tell them you've contacted an
investigative reporte who has reported on them in the past.
Don't stop if you don't get what you were promised.
These people appeared to be trained to lie, cheat, steal from students, especially the ones that are naive about schooling.
It's sad.
Good Luck to you
Report them to your local Better Business Bureau. Email the school's P.R./Communications office -- the address is

@Fight back--
Shut the HELL up, People ARE Reading, but these Mother F...Rs teach their employees to LIE, CHEAT and STEAL.
My daughter is also a victim and I was almost one.
The Enrollment Counselors are so FULL of CRAP it isn't fully.
So stay the F...of the board of complaints and leave these victims alone
AND HAVE YOU DONE YOUR FREAKING HOME WORK ###?
CUZ IF YOU DID, YOU WOULD NOTICE THAT THERE HAS BEEN MANY CLASS
ACTION LAW SUITS AND HUNDREDS, IF NOT THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE COMPLAINING
ABOUT THESE ###
So, again, SHUT UP! AND MIND YOUR DAMN BUSINESS
I can vouch for you on that one. I too had purchased a Visa Pre-Loan card for my son, for his b'day and they did NOT tell me I had to call the phone # to activate it.
BUT...I did find out about the phone # activation, because I asked the clerk to make sure there was the $500.00 on the card and she didn't know how, because it was sealed. So I went to the customer service counter and that is where I found out about the activation number.
Your right, they should have told you about it.
Why are you even complaining? You can't even spell well. I can see a couple of mistakes, but my GLOB! did you actually read what you wrote BEFORE you submitted?
As for the Nurse, well your both idiots, if you agree with her.
I do know that some Walmarts suck! and some are great. For Instance, The Walmart's in Grand Prairie & Arlington, Texas...The customer service SUCK! I even made a formal complaint to the Head Quarters via email and the top manager phoned me back.
The Walmart in El Paso, Texas on Trans Mountain, is the BEST Walmart I have ever been too. They Rock! with customer service. I phoned in a formal gratitude to Head Quarters on how well the customer service is
The Walmarts in Fayettevill, North Carolina, on Ramsey Rd. They are great. They are very professional and polite.
Just don't go to any Walmart's in Dallas, Tx, especially if your having a bad day, you might go postal on them...lol
@Jason Tillo----LMAO!...=D That was a good one and your probably right
I like Walmart because of the conveniences
1. Usually closer to my home
2. Pricing is good
3. And like they say, "If it ain't at Walmart, 'You don't need it!'
I know from experience that some Walmarts are worse than others.
Also, if you want to get in and out without too much traffic, you need to go really early and do NOT go on the 1st or the 15th of the month, pay days are great, but not when you going to Walmart. Everyone and their mothers are there on pay day.
I hate shopping, unlike most women. I can't stand crowds, so I when I go to Walmart, I get there between 8:00am and 9:30am
Oh and DO avoid going to ANY Walmart in Arlington or Grand Prairie, Tx. They are ###! there
OMG! that was sad but funny at the same time. I have been to many subways before in different states and it's not just at the one you went to, it's every where mostly. They are all rude and don't know what the hell they are doing.
Now...If you want to get really nice Subway Employees, go to one by a Military Post/Base, that are connected to an AAFES. They HAVE to be nice. They are very big on customer service and if they aren't you can get them in a lot of trouble or even fired.
I'm finding out that if employees have a system that there are mystery shoppers, bonuses, or a number to call that is shown in front of the store, then the employees are super nice. Otherwise, they don't give a ###, plain and simple.
My thing is, if you don't like your job...quit! don't put customers in a bad mood just because you are!
We ordered online, The Magin Bullet, back in 2003 and still have it and it works awesome. We use it on a daily basis. We make Smoothies; I use it for my dogs treats when I need to grind up something.
We need to order a new Blender soon though, this one is getting worn out, from using it so much.
I personally love The Magic Bullet.
Sorry others are having problems.
@Andrea--They used to NOT have them in stores. And all you had was online to buy them. It appears that all online products, if you wait long enough, they will eventually come out on the market in stores, like Walmart...Even when they say, "Not sold in Stores" ...what they need to add to that is " not yet anyway"...lol
Yeah, I initially did that too, ordered 5yrs upfront, but then I canceled the 5yr plan, for that reason. I was afraid something would happen like that or it would go out of business.
Now my 1yr was due to be up on June 2017, so I went on last night (may 26, 2017) and renewed it to the 5yr plan. Then this morning, I went online to the customer service chat and made sure with them that I indeed have my 5yrs plan and she confirmed it. I copied and pasted the chat on to text pad and saved it, for just in case.
I hardly ever use it, but I have it just in case. And now you can purchase them at Walgreens...lol
When there is a storm, I have problems with it, but other than that, it's pretty good, it does the purpose.
@nikwy--well nikwy you can kiss my ###! I know what happened to my daughter and almost happened to me and yes we DID READ THE ###ING PAPER WORK. so don't sit there and talk about something you have not ###ing clue about. They DID LIE and obviously they are doing it to others, and I can attest to this, If they were not lying to people there would not be any ###ing complaints on here. It's not very arduous to figure that UOP are, cheating, liars, AND this is a COMPLAINT BOARD not a eulogy and worship board.
And not that it is any of your business, but we are NOT trying to sue them for money, we are trying to get them to stop doing what they are doing. I don't want a ###ING DIME! from this. I don't need money, I can bet that I make more in 6months than you do in a year.
@carriefox--Thank you for being kind, unlike some other people on here, but that's just it. Her counselor went over the paper work, as they tell you, they have to. She kept telling him, that, if it was a loan, she did not want to do this, and he kept telling her, it was NOT a loan, and she asked him, if that is for sure? and then why is it saying it's a loan? And he told her it was FORMALITY, just in case she did get a loan, again he said "trust me, it's not a loan" quote, un quote...He LIED! that's the whole point. She electronically signed because she put her trust in him, after all he was worked there and that was his job, to sign her up, and go over everything with her.
I keep telling this story over and over, but just as UOP keeps telling her "YOU SIGNED" no body seems to under stand, she knows she signed, but only because she put her trust in the school and the guy who was signing her up. I can attest to it also, because I was going to do it myself, but backed out, because of military spouse grants. But when she told me her story, I got pissed, and I believed her, because, what she told me, was the same thing as the guy who was signing me up, told me. AND THAT is why I totally believe my daughter is telling the truth and why I know they lied, point blank! *whew* got that all out...lol
@ nj593---lol...Yeah your right they should have an admissions requirement, especially for ###ING IDIOTS like YOU...
AXIA/UOP and what ever else name they go by; They are not worthy of teaching anyone.
They are a for profit school and they could give a ### about people, all they care about is $$ money
@NonnieMouse--Thanks for the tip on possibly not having to pay back the Stafford Loan. It's a long story, which I have wrote and told many times.
I will look in to that for sure
@Rip Off- I know your not talking to me right? Ya know, you seem to use that "choke on sausage" practically on every post you go to. You don't know what the ### you are talking about, so shut the hell up and go choke on your own ###ing sausage!
Axia and UOP are basically one in the same, dumb ###! check it for your own dumb ### self http://www.phoenix.edu/colleges_divisions/axia.html or is that too arduous for you figure out.
And personally I don't give a ### about getting pell grants, free money to pay for mine or my daughter's college. That's what it's there for so, who gives a ###. I pay my taxes!
I go to College for FREE and I'm loving every bit of it. I get free college, because (not that's it's any of yours or anyone elses business, but I'm an Army Wife, so I get FREE, yes, FREE FREE FREE College. Woo Hoo! and you don't Ha Ha Ha! My college is paid 100% in full. (stooping to your level)
You are NOTHING, with your facetious remarks, what a joke.
You have nothing better to do than come on these kind of boards and talk your ###, probably because if you did it to anyone in person, they'd knock the living ### outta ya. Choke on that sausage you little ###.
@justme--lol..I can totally see that. I am looking into what they say my daughter owes and with her having FAFSA, they are still saying she owes like 15k. Ain't so way. They are freakin liars and they really cover their ### well don't they?
@cookie monster- I find your remarks facetious. I guess you can't read or you found it a little arduous to comprehend the fact that I specifically wrote:
And those idiots that post just to argue and act like dumb ###, I don't give a ### what you say or think, go do something else with all your free time.
And it had nothing to do with Math & Grammar, so maybe "you" should be the one that needs to go to school. Stop taking all those drugs and maybe you could actually learn something. You use one word that you obviously had to look up, and have the nerve to say I have subpar English? "lol...Unreal "what ever!"
You don't have a clue, so take your ungainly, uneducated ### ### outta here.
@Brittney, Dakota, and Maddies Mommy- Ok ###!
I said single, because she's not married to her fiance. That's sad, that you said you "chose" to spread your legs, and ain't no way you "chose" to be a single mom, I can bank of that!. And, to boot, you kept on spreading them. 3 kids by 3 different fathers, I presume.
Yes she did sign; your not the only one that has said this. But, this is where they got her and several others. They go over the paper work and tell you to electronically sign. If you ask about the loan part, they tell you, "oh, you don't have a loan, it's just formality" "for in case you do want a loan." So, she put her trust in these people that are suppose to be helping her. She asked them repeatedly, "is this a loan? because I don't want a loan" THEY TOLD HER "NO"
And how the hell do you know he explained it to her? Were sitting right there with her? Did you have the same enrollment counselor?
BTW--I was a single mom of 2, long before you were a single mom of 3.
No wonder you couldn't keep your men, your ###! and you deserve to be alone. I hope your kids don't grow up to be a dumb ###, ### like you!
@justme--she has been calling and calling and no one will help her. She talked to the attorney and he gave her advise, so she's doing what he told her. She has asked them to explain to her, if she has FAFSA Grant of like 13k (from what they are showing) and the schooling for 2yrs was 15k, then why is she owing all this money. It just doesn't add up.
I will post later.
Everyone says UOP is Appollo, they say it's Axia, go figure!
Thanks for the info.
ok, now I am reading or trying to read your posts( which is hard to read, because you don't proof read) I can see some mistakes, but ###ing gee wiz..go back to school fat ###!
First of all, what you wrote about Walmart, some may be true, but I doubt if all of it is. And you should have called corporate, they would have done something about it. I know for a fact
