On the 14th of JUNE 2011, we negotiated and settled for a 1998 HONDA ACCORD CAR for $1300 and I issued a BANK OF AMERICA’s CHECK (Check No. 91) of $1000 due same day in favour of PRESTIGE MOTORS managed and withdrawn by Mr. JASON SMITH to pay the remaining Balance of $300 on delivery/pick-up of the car on the 17th of June being Friday. He fraudulently delayed the presentation of the Car Title by giving excuses of not being able to fix up the car, and he later became aggressive as I consistently demanded for my car. However, I gave him the remaining balance of $300 CASH and was receipted in his office on the 28th of June as he requested to enable him sort out everything about the car. I eventually discovered that he had re-sold my car for $3500 and when I asked him for my car, he threw me out of his office alongside his boys and started threatening my life. He has been very inconsistent with appointments to refund my money because I borrowed the money with $8 interest on daily basis. When I wanted to bring in Corps into the matter he issued me an INTRUST BANK CHECK(Check No.29)dated 5th of JULY for my REFUND which turned out to be a DUD/BAD CHECK and was not honored. Hence, he started avoiding me after I had reported back to him. Attached is the copy of the DUD/BAD CHECK he gave to me for REFUND that was not honoured and my email is "[protected]@yahoo.com"
I left my Dodge Stealth at Prestige Motors lot to be fixed and its been 9 months and he still hasn’t fixed it! He said he has so much to do he only has 2 cars ready for actual sale. lol….
so..i told him i needed my car back and he refused until i pay a storage fee of $25 a day. Yet he was suppose to be checking my car out and fixing it. Do not buy a car from here unless you want problems with it continuously. I have bought 2 cars from him and both were messed up and he refused to fix them …. so beware…
Prestige Motors is even working without a certificate of occupency and no business license…this is why he says no credit check and its buy here pay here. Not to mention he hit my car with another one of his and said i had to sign a paper saying i wouldnt press charges on him in order to get MY car back.
I recently purchased a truck from them and I went to get a tag the same day but the lady informed me that the title page was missing so I went back to the place and he said that he had to take a test on the computer to get a ID for me to get a tag and months passed and I went down again and he rewrote the contract for twenty more days and this time he said that he would just do it like I rented the SUV but when I went out to warm the truck this morning it was gone he had came and got the truck. He isn’t responding to any of my phone calls nor messages.
