Renate Remplain bought a F2 cat from me, Heather Goerdt, approx 2 years ago. The cat is classified as "wildlife" and required much documetation to ship from the US to Germany. She received authorization to import the cat into Germany under her name.
It is illegal to import wildlife and then resell it to a different party (without proper documents). Additionally, our signed contract states that cat is to never be resold without my express permission (due to international trade laws) and that doing so renders sale null and void.
The German breeder, Renate Remplain, resold the cat, months after she imported the cat, to a third party without my consent and without obtaining proper authorization. The woman who purchased the cat, Claudia Bibracher, has had several medical issues with the cat. She also said that the cat did not come with medical records, registration papers, and other vital documents.
The 3rd party, who is NOT my client, is now making compaints against me as well. I had no prior knowledge whatsoever about the cat being illegally resold.
Renate Remplain broke many rules and regulations regarding the sale of this cat and apparently resold the cat with health issues. She needs to work with her client regarding the cat's issues. The cat left my home almost 2 years ago and I am not involved in the resell in any way whatsoever.
I believe that Melissa Coleman is a wonderful person from what I've seen. I was Googling the Paradise Golden Retriever website to look at more pictures (I can't help but look at cute puppies) and this came up on the search. I'm in the process of getting a puppy from Ms. Coleman. The only, and I mean ONLY thing not 100% wonderful is the time it takes to receive information about the puppies and when they will be born etc. But of course anyone who owns a business is busy and although I wish to know about the puppy I will be getting, I understand that things may be very busy, especially with a litter having been just delivered. I have researched this breeder for years as I have wanted a puppy from here since I was 14 years old! I have found nothing but happy comments until this one. I do believe you are being irrationally rude. I am excited to get my puppy and am excited that it is coming from Paradise!

Melissa Coleman is not a good dog owner. I have witnessed how she cares for her animals and it was heartbreaking. she should not own let-alone seal dogs.
Melissa Coleman claims to have produced golden retriever puppies for the last six years without a single health issue. I listened to this and read this and believed these statements on her website. She seemed like such a lovely person and the website appears to be excellent...when you don't really know what to look for. I thought I was just buying a puppy, I did not realize that I needed to research and study. I could not imagine that someone would breed a dog with hereditary medical problems. Now I know. Anyone can claim to have produced puppies with no health issues . The website for Paradise Golden Retrievers continues to claim no health issues despite the fact that my puppy has severe hip dysplasia and elbow dysplasia . Melissa Coleman did refund my $1200 but I still have a very sick and disabled puppy that isn't even a year old. The sweetest puppy in the world that cannot run across my back yard or walk around the block. Not a single health issue? Now I know...both parents of the puppy should have hip and elbow clearances with OFA. If you breed a dog that doesn't have those clearances then you choose to pass those inherited medical problems on.

live in a trailer with 22 dogs! We moved to a beautiful 14 acre property, just 2 miles from our
home where you bought Rufus. Scotty, Shalimar, and Daisy still live with us and are doing
well, though older than when you saw them. We live in a home similar to the one you saw years ago.
Our breeding program has expanded and we continue to have wonderful dogs and
puppies, all going to great homes like yours. We have a vacant trailer on the edge of
the property - she must have googled our address, did not see the house under the

Hi, I got my perfect dog Rufus (AKC Registered) from Melissa Coleman 5 years ago. At the time she was operating out of her home. A beautiful home on a golf course. If she was forced to move into a trailer for whatever reason, I would still consider her my first choice for a Golden Retriever Breeder. I liked they way she did everything. I saw the puppies from two weeks on. I was very nervous getting my first dog. Now, I couldn't imagine not having him in my life.
This is one of the funniest things I have ever read, although it is completely slanderous!
I should be angry, but it is really quite pathetic!
I live in a 3, 500 sq. foot home and my dogs live in beautiful AKC-approved kennels as well
as in my lovely 2-story home. We are an AKC-inspected facility, where our dogs, kennels
and records meet or exceed AKC standards. Where does this woman get her information!

Melissa Coleman lives in a 1975 trailer with over 22 golden retrievers. You do the math on their health under those conditions. Her daughter is a liar, she is a liar. Go to the blogs, read the documents, read Melissa's repeated claims that she was only an acquaintance of Heather Goerdt. Repeated claims, lie after lie after lie after lie. Until I posted proof that she is in deed the kitten mill owner's mother. I have the proof and can post their trailer park address.
I have found sites that talk about the POOR quality of Paradise Golden Retrievers and her lack of CORRECT certifications. What a joke! 22+ goldens in a trailer in Florida!
And mommy dearest here, goes around to all the sites and leaves good comments about her daughter, Heather Goerdt, being a great horse trainer...leaves them as an acquaintance to mislead yet more people. What a joke. Sad that her and her daughter are so incompetent.

From what I can read, Lilli Anderson has made all kinds of ridiculous and completely
inaccurate claims, in attempt to gain money for her "donation" site.

The one person who left a bad review is a breeder who sells VERY sick cats, Heather Goerdt Gonzales, Gulf Coast Exotic Felines along with her mother, Melissa Coleman who is co-owner of her cattery. The mother also breeds golden retrievers. They are BIG TIME SCAMMERS and LIARS! Shetani Savannahs is a very well known and respect cattery with no complaints by anyone else.
