In October 2022, I ordered two high-end toilets/bidets, but they never shipped. I sent follow-up emails every few weeks and was told repeatedly that the items were on backorder and would ship in "a few weeks". After seven months of waiting and multiple follow-ups from me, I was informed in April 2023 that the items had been discontinued and was offered a substitute. When I asked for the delivery time and confirmation that the price of the new item was the same as what I ordered previously, I didn't receive a response despite sending several follow-up emails/tickets over the next several weeks. Eventually, I found out that the replacement items were also backordered and cost $2500 each! More than double what my original items cost. This was the worst customer service experience I've ever had, and I can only imagine how challenging it would be to deal with this company if you had a problem and needed a return or replacement. They never once reached out to me with an update and getting a response when you contact them is a brutal process. Try calling support before you order, you will not be able to get a human on the phone. My order was placed on October 14th 2022 and ultimately cancelled on May 4th 2023. Buyer beware. I recently had an experience with PlumbersStock (plumbersstock.com) that left me feeling quite dissatisfied. I received an AC vent cover which was the wrong size compared to what I had ordered. Upon contacting the manager to initiate a return and replacement, I was reminded that their policy forbids the acceptance of returns. This was disconcerting because I had already provided the exact dimensions of the vent cover. Even though I had received something very different from what I'd ordered, I was out of luck as far as compensation goes.
I can't help but feel that if PlumbersStock had been more upfront about the dimensions of the product, all of this could have been avoided. After all, the item that I received was 2 inches wider on all sides than what I had been lead to believe. Anywhere else I've ordered AC vent covers from in the past has always provided me with the exact dimensions that I requested, so it's disappointing to see such a lack of integrity at this company. When it comes to customer service, PlumbersStock has definitely missed the mark.
Overall, I'm quite unhappy with my experience at PlumbersStock, and I doubt that I'll be returning to shop there again. I was hoping for a product that would meet my needs and an easy, stress-free experience. However, the poor communication and lack of transparency when it comes to product dimensions has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.
