Initially offers very inexpensive language learning, but it turns out to be very expensive. Offers a few disks for 9.95 but then auto-debits your card for 64.00 a month. ( I didn't know this until I received the first disk). It is obviously their intention to have you not recognize that they will charge later. It is also very time consuming to get in contact with them to stop payment. If you don't stop them they will end up charging you several thousand dollars. A very disreputable company.
They continue to auto-debit my account even after I have cancelled and repeatably called to stop shipment and charges.

they sent the first Spanish one, and right behind that one was the Gold one which I hadn't even got a chance to see if I like it. After finding out that you couldn't see anything on the screen to write down or study, I knew this wasn't for me. I want to return both and contacted them and no response. There in perfect condition as I never used and and original boxes. They are very good at hooking you, beware... I like to look at sentences and repeat and do multiply choice like tests. This is not like that.
Same thing happened to me; I bought a very inexpensive Spanish language demo and was told that I had elected to receive some special gold membership to the tune of $250 every 60 days. I called to cancel and they gave me a story about how it had been more than 30 days since I started receiving "gold benefits, " and they refused to reverse any charges. They did commit to not sending anything else, so we'll have to wait and see on that one.

I ordered digital course on Dec 11, 2019 and still do note have an access to course. Contact Pimsleur 6-7 times by email - only one automatic reply that they will contact as soon as possible. Sinse no reply/resolution, I hope that bank will help to get my money back.
