I will never and I mean never go to Peerless again! They have ruined one of my expensive white dressy shirts. I took it back and they kept giving me the run around for almost 2 months just to tell me that it was a defect from the company where I bought my shirt. This white shirt had a big ink spot on the right shoulder, I had already taken it before for dry clean, so I know for a fact it was not a defect. This shirt cost me 116 dollars and to have it ruined on my 3rd wear, practically new...I don't know what else I can do to have it replace. I have been a customer of Peerless for over 10 yrs and they do this to their customers, that is just so so bad. I would give it no star but to put a review I have to put one star...

I brought my expensive black jeans to Peerless Cleaners on *** for a cleaning, but it turned out to be a mistake. The girl at the counter informed me that they were experiencing issues with their starch machines at the warehouse. Despite my frequent visits, I didn't expect my pants to come back with noticeable starch stains. The counter girl admitted that it was their fault, so I decided to give them another chance and had them cleaned again. Unfortunately, even after the second attempt, my pants still had stubborn starch stains that couldn't be fixed. It's frustrating that they didn't offer any further assistance, especially since this situation was completely their fault. As a result, I'll have to find another dry cleaner to use temporarily.

I'm really mad at Peerless Cleaners. They messed up my clothes big time. I gave them a bunch of stuff to dry clean, including a brand new dress. When I got it back, there was a thread hanging from the sleeve and the stitching on the hem was all messed up. I called the manager, ***, and told her what happened. She said they would send it to some company to fix it. I was worried they wouldn't do a good job and match the stitching on the other side. But *** said she would make sure they did. After a few days, I picked up my dress and some other stuff that needed to be pressed again. When I got home and looked at my dress, the stitching they did didn't match the other side at all. It was obvious that the company they sent it to did a terrible job. I called *** and told her what happened. She didn't even look at the dress when it came back. She said the only thing they could do was send it back to the same company. I didn't want them to do that because they did a crappy job the first time. I asked if they could send it somewhere else, but she said no. She said I should talk to the general manager, ***. I called him twice and left messages, but he never called me back. So, based on my experience, Peerless is terrible. They messed up my new dress and don't care about fixing it properly. The general manager won't even call me back. They say they've been around for 100 years, but their quality, service, and care are a joke.

I dropped off A Chicago Cubs Baseball Cap with my Daughter's name stitched onto the Cap Aniyah on 10/30/23, along with Stacy Adam's Dress Shoes, at you Dupont Location, I came to pick up both items on 11/20/23, and my Chicago Cubs Baseball Caps with my Daughter Name was not in the bag, only my dress shoes, I've made numerous of calls, and been told that someone will call me back, and I never hear from anyone, this has happened about 3 to 4 times, I spoke with someone on the 21st the next day on the phone when I called that told me they was aware of the situation, and that it was somewhere at the Hillagas Location, that was one of the times I was told to leave my number, i came in later that Day spoke with Audra the Location Manager, I've called about 2 to 3 times since then both Dupont, and Hillagas, and told to leave my Number, today, I was transferred to A voice lmail

I took my husband's jacket to Peerless Cleaners just to be safe. We had gone out the night before and someone spilled a drink on the front of it. There were NO stains that I could see. When I dropped it off, I checked it with the employee and they agreed that there were no stains, but it would be a good idea to have it cleaned just in case. When I got my jacket back, there was a terrible white stain on the back. I called the main office right away and dropped it off again, and they promised to take care of it. The branch supervisor called me back two days later and said they would have to send the jacket to Leather Masters in Chicago because that's where it was cleaned. He called me again a week later and said that the company is saying the stain was already there when they received the jacket and that the cuffs were worn. The jacket was brand new and had only been worn once. Again, I only brought it in as a precaution. Luckily, I was able to buy my husband a new jacket, but I think Peerless should step up and make things right by paying for the jacket I had to buy since they ruined the original.
