I am submitting a formal grievance under SMART Customer Solutions’ Employee Grievances and Disputes policy regarding the September 22, 2026 decision to remove me from my Customer Service Supervisor position and the circumstances leading to that decision.
Before that decision, I repeatedly requested clear supervisor-call standards, training, access to the applicable guidance, and an opportunity to review and learn from the calls and QA results at issue. I am asking SMART to review my dated requests, the responses I received, the training and coaching records, and the records relied upon for the decision. I also repeatedly requested the employee handbook but did not receive a copy when I asked.
I am requesting a reviewer outside Michael’s reporting line. I do not feel Karen can serve as an independent reviewer of a complaint concerning Michael because I understand that they are in a personal relationship and live together. I am raising this to explain my concern about the reporting route, not to make a claim about anyone’s motives.
Please confirm receipt of this grievance, identify who will review it, and provide the written response described in the handbook or let me know if additional investigation time is needed. I would also like instructions for reviewing my personnel file, including my handbook acknowledgment, training records, weekly one-on-one records, coaching documentation, and the records used in the supervisor decision.
I resigned after these events, but I still want an accurate review of what happened and of the training and guidance available to supervisors and agents.
