I visited Patient First at 10100 Fairfax Blvd, Fairfax, VA 22030 over a year ago, and the visit was covered under two insurance plans. About a year later, I unexpectedly received a bill. When I called to clarify, I learned the issue was related to determining which insurance was primary and which was secondary. I corrected the confusion and requested that Patient First bill my primary insurance. However, they refused to cooperate and instead sent my account to collections.
I then contacted my primary insurance provider, who explained they could not take any action without receiving a claim. I also spoke with the collections department, who informed me they were unable to file a claim with the insurance company. As a result, I am still struggling with Patient First, who continues to refuse to submit the claim to my primary insurance and responds to my calls with an unprofessional and hostile tone.
Recommendation: never recommend this place and service ever, very rude.
