Patient First review: Rudeness and very bad customer service

On September 6, 2021 I brought my son in for treatment we arrived at 730 pm and was not seen until 1055 pm the receptionist a white lady I could not get her name continued to pick and choose who she called back, what we noticed was if you went up to the window an yelled at her you were seen but we choose not to do that. Once we got to her desk during registration she said "I think you have a bill you can pay it" I said I would but then "she said you will need to call this number to be sure of the amount" I said I rather call and make sure before giving you my card. She got up never looking at me at no point and went back and brought out this black lady who said why are your here I explain my son is sick giving her the symptoms he had and she just looked at me. I said is there a problem is it about the bill, I explained to the women that I have no problem paying my bill but the way this lady presented it she not sure and said we would not be seen unless it's paid and my jaw hit the floor you mean you will deny me emergency service if I can't pay she said yes, to have that said in front of my sick child was heart breaking all I wanted was to have the receptionist be sure of what she was saying I owed disappointed I paid but will never return there by way the Dr was very nice. I will tell everyone I know about this experience for I know patients are not first at this location.
