I signed a contract with a reliable italian company to transport my personal belongings from milan to panama. The company boasted a good reputation, so I trusted them. And as far as the transport was concerned they provide an excellent service. Unfortunately the chose the wrong partner in panama, mr rene perez of panama international worldwide movers, a professional scammer complained by several custmers' reviews (search on the internet: compared to other customers' bad experiences I can consider myself a lucky guy!).in the contract I signed the fee of mr perez was 1000$. However, when my belongings arrived in panama I received a bill of 1950$. I asked for an explanation, because was not conceivable that I had to pay the double than agreed. Mr perez, professiona lier, invented a lot of tall tales, such as costums inspection and fumigations and others. The only reasonable extrafee was the double address of delivery in panama, quoted 150$.
A couple of weeks later, another bad news: an extracost of 550$ for storage. What storage? I didn't ask for it, no logical explanation, just the threat to bill me 150$ per day if I didn't pay immediately.
Finally my belongings arrived in panama: what a surprise! The were sealed by my tape and the one of the italian company. Immaculate as they left my house in milan. Hence any box was opened, any inspection and fumigation was done, it was just a big scam to steal money.
I denounced for fraud mr perez at the acodeco (a panamenian society devoted at consumer protection, let's see what happen. But the word of mouth would be the best solution. I will forward this review on the social media. Waning! I signed a contract to move personal belongings from Italy to Panama with a reliable Italian company, that accomplished an impeccable service. Unfortunately, they chose as a Panamian partner a professional scammer named Rene Perez already complained for frauds by other unlucky clients .
The contract I signed included 1000$ as compensation for Panama International Worldwide Mover Express. However I received I request of 1950 $ when my belongings arrived in Panama. I asked Mr Perez the reason of the doubled compensation and he invented a lot of lies such as cutom inspections, fumigations and other tall tales.
I paid because I was so stupid to believe in this lies.
After a couple of weeks, he added an extrafee of 550$ for storage. What storage? I didn't ask for any storage, no logical explication, just a week of delay of the delivery. If i didn't pay immediately, I wrote me he would add 150 $ extra per day. What a damned scammer!
I paid to receive my belongins. What a surprise: all sealed with the original tape and the one of the Italian company. So what kind of inspection could have be done, is any box was opened? An unbelievable fraud.
The only justified extracost, quoted 150$ was a double address of delivery in Panama. All the other money was a scam. I will sue this awful company for fraud at ACODECO and I suggest all the other cheated clients to do the same. It is very easy and can be done online.
Final suggestion: WARNING! RENE PEREZ AND PANAMA INTERNATIONAL WORLDWIDE MOVERS ARE PROFESSIONAL SCAMMERS. STAY AWAY FROM THEM
