Yesterday, I had an unfortunate encounter at the parking lot of Pearson Airport. I'd just picked up my brother from a long flight, and to my surprise, I found a ticket on my car. Seeking clarity, I approached a staff member from Paladin Security to understand the reason behind it.

Rather than explaining, the individual began to shout at me aggressively. Taken aback, I tried to calm the situation by asking what the issue was. His response was even more disturbing as he threatened that he could make life difficult for me.

Feeling unsafe and disrespected, I asked to speak to his supervisor. The supervisor seemed more approachable and provided me with the company's contact number. After waiting on hold for an hour, I finally spoke to a representative. I shared my concerns, especially about the apparent lack of training for their staff. Instead of addressing the matter constructively, the representative simply said he'd escalate the issue. When I pressed further, asking why their staff felt it was okay to mistreat individuals, he stated he had "no comment" and abruptly hung up.

I'm truly surprised and disappointed by the incident and the company's handling of it. It's concerning when those tasked with ensuring safety and security act in such an unprofessional manner. Everyone deserves respect, and no one should feel threatened or mistreated, especially not by those in positions of authority.
