Insurance claim submitted at the end of February when my father had a heart attack while traveling in Arizona. He was ordered by the doctors there to stay in Arizona for a few days after he was discharged and that he was not to travel home by himself. There has been almost no communication from PBC. Only one request to provide documentation, which we did immediately. I have called multiple times with mixed results. The most recent call, I was told that the personal expenses claim was denied. The operator couod not tell me why, could not tell me who was assigned to the claim or who I could speak to that could tell me. She rudely told me that "I dont get it" and had the nerve to ask me why I think it should be approved. It is now October. Clearly the level of incompetence is extremely high. They are delaying as much as possible to justify denying a claim that should not be denied. I will never recommend PBC and will be getting upper channels involved in this disgrace.
Desired outcome: Immediately look into the poorly handling by your staff and approve this claim as your duty is to do so.
