Optimum RV review: If I could give a 0 rating, I would

If I could give this dealer a one star, I would. This dealership sold us a 2022 Heritage Glen trailer. I really loved that the trailer had a larger kitchen, and a king size bed. They sold us on protection plans for paint, fabric, along with the entire vehicle protection plan, a total of 4263.50.

Last year, the roof had a leak, along with other items that needed to be fixed. Because we live 6 hours away from the dealer, we had to make hotel arrangements and board our 4 dogs for a day.

When we arrived at their facility, around 10 in the morning, we could smell a strong odor of marijuana on the outside, as well as the inside of their main building. We should've stopped right there and left.

Needless to say, nothing was covered on the protection plans they sold us, except the kitchen faucet that didn't work, which was a 20.00 item, and we had to pay for the shipping. The total bill came out to almost 1800.00.

This past week, we took out the trailer for a few days and there was a hard rain. There were leaks in three different places that we could see. The leak in the shower damaged the trim and the trim has swelled up and we'll need to replace it, along with the vinyl covering. They charged us $748.35 to seal the roof. Obviously, it wasn't repaired.

Think twice before you go to this dealer. They do not stand up to their warranty and the quality of work they provide is a disgrace.
