My experience with Omni Mechanical Services was a total disaster. They were called to fix one heating zone in a three-family house with two working furnaces. But when they finished, I had a leak that wasn't there before, and all three units were damaged. Both furnaces stopped working, and I had to go without heat for days. I had to replace both furnaces and make repairs to the units, with more work still to be done. To top it off, one of the owners didn't wear a mask, putting me at risk of catching COVID-19. I ended up spending over $10,000.00 because of their shoddy work and poor craftsmanship.

I paid USD 19,000 on 02/14, withholding USD 1,000 as retention, expecting the job to be done correctly in subsequent stages. Living in one unit, I oversaw the heating installation there before moving to the second in September . That winter, we discovered a room without heat and reported it. Despite a technician's visit, the issue persisted, leading me to retain the final payment until resolution, which never occurred. Omni finished the second unit's job in February , but multiple system issues remained unresolved despite our follow-ups and requests for equipment guarantees. A new tenant in July reported inadequate heating, with temperatures not exceeding a certain low degree. Our attempts to address this with Omni were dismissed. The original contract included a 2-year labor warranty, which they are not honoring.
