My experience with Omni Mechanical Services was a total disaster
My experience with Omni Mechanical Services was a total disaster. They were called to fix one heating zone in a three-family house with two working furnaces. But when they finished, I had a leak that wasn't there before, and all three units were damaged. Both furnaces stopped working, and I had to go without heat for days. I had to replace both furnaces and make repairs to the units, with more work still to be done. To top it off, one of the owners didn't wear a mask, putting me at risk of catching COVID-19. I ended up spending over $10,000.00 because of their shoddy work and poor craftsmanship.

I made a deal with Omni Mechanical on 01/24 to put in a new Gas Central Heating / Conditioning in two condos located at *** and ***. Since I was doing changes to both units, the company agreed to do their job in a row as I was progressing with the renovations. I paid USD 19 000 on 02/14 ( leaving USD 1000 as retention ) believing that the job will be done right when the time comes for next stages. I was living in unit at a time while unit was being renovated including finalizing heating work in that unit. I moved to Unit in September and after first winter we noticed that one room had no heat at all of which we notified the company. They sent a technician but the problem continued so I decided to keep retention money until it had been solved but it never had. In February Omni completed the job in unit . There were several problems with the system which they tried to resolve but without success. We followed it up with several phone calls which they disregarded. We also asked for the guarantee documentation on equipment but never got them. In July a new tenant moved into unit and when winter came, she started to use heating system and informed us that the downstairs temperature reaches only *0 degrees. We called the company and followed with emails but were told that they were done with us.. In original contract they provided us with 2 years guarantee on labour and clearly do not honor it. We spent a lot of money on the heating system and expect it to work efficiently. We are respectfully asking ComplaintsBoard.com to help us with this matter.
