In February 2023 I was doing maintenance on my 2017 Ford Focus when I was approach and asked if I thought about trading my car in. I said I didn't. I ended up with a 2016 Jeep with only 28,000 miles.

I took the Jeep home and notice it was leaking oil. I took it back as soon as I was able and they used my warranty and said it was fixed after keeping it over a week. I was getting laid off at the same time. I noticed it was still leaking. Then when started my new job, there huge spots. I took it back to Ford in June and they finally fixed the leak using my warranty and I had to pay another 250.00. Now my jeep is overheating. I took it in last week. 9/2 because it was already needing an oil change for some reason. I told the mechanic that it was starting to over heat and he said to take it to Jeep to get scanned. I don't know why I bought it there. I could not get an appt anywhere for the Jeep. And after the oil change they said my battery was good. It was not that next week I had to buy a battery. My Jeep would not start.

I basically traded a good vehicle in for a headache. I should not be spending this much time at Ford. My son in law is thinking there now may be a crack in the engine. When I took it back the 2nd time for an oil leak there was no oil in the Jeep. I am really disappointed and don't know what to do now. I have an appt on 9/ 11 to take the Jeep back because it is getting too hot. I don't have time for this I have a job I need to get to everyday. This is my only vehicle.

Desired outcome: Either a new engine or a different vehicle. I gave up a good vehicle to get one that needs repair every damn week.
