OKX review: ⚠️ my experience with okx: a documented technical glitch blocked my sell order during a profit spike, and still no compensation or clear answer
**⚠️ My Experience with OKX: A Documented Technical Glitch Blocked My Sell Order During a Profit Spike, and Still No Compensation or Clear Answer**
**The Full Timeline:**
? **September 13, 2026 - 04:43:02**
I bought 254.8083396 LSK at 0.494 USDT (total 126 USDT) — Order ID: 3917982665739800576
? Right after buying, LSK's price spiked like crazy (over 500% in 24 hours, reaching up to 1.4 USDT), and my unrealized PnL hit around **367 USDT**.
❌ **I tried selling every way possible, but nothing worked:**
* Market Order
* Limit Order
* Convert
? **Official emails from OKX actually confirmed my sell orders were "triggered" multiple times at high prices:**
* 08:14:00 → Triggered at 0.85
* 08:25:49 → Triggered (TP) at 0.5377
* 08:26:12 → Triggered (TP) at 0.52503
* 08:28:39 → Triggered (SL) at 0.5
**Yet, none of these orders actually executed!**
⚠️ **An official OKX system message popped up when trying to sell at 1.40256:**
"Your sell order for LSK has been cancelled because the order price exceeds the price limit."
⚠️ **Another error message showed up when using Convert:**
"An error occurred, please try again later" — alongside a completely wrong price (1 LSK ≈ 0.00 USDT)
? **Official platform trading volume data during those exact hours proves there was zero liquidity issue:**
* 04:00 → 147K USDT
* 05:00 → 1.36M USDT
* 06:00 → 469K USDT
* 07:00 → **3.46M USDT**
**How could a tiny sell order worth 126–367 USDT fail to execute while millions of dollars were actively trading?**
⏰ **07:30:40**
The sell order finally went through (after ~3 hours of failing) at just 0.44584 — **resulting in a loss**, even though I had a massive profit window the entire time.
**? Dealing with Support:**
* Opened an official ticket (#38845471) with all the proof attached.
* First reply: A generic excuse about an "anti-manipulation protection mechanism" without answering a single specific question.
* After pushing harder: They admitted it was "insufficient liquidity"—which completely contradicts their own official trading volume stats.
* They asked for detailed logs "for review," which I provided in full.
* For the past two days, the only reply has been: "Still under review" with zero updates.
**My simple question that no one has answered yet:**
**Why were users allowed to buy freely the whole time, while selling the exact same pair kept getting rejected?**
All the evidence above is officially documented straight from OKX's system (screenshots, emails, order IDs).
