I moved out of an apartment on 3/8 as per the required notice time. I made sure to leave the place clean and returned the keys and parking tag. I even found someone to take over my lease because I had to leave due to COVID job difficulties. They assured me that I would get my security deposit back. However, it's already May 26, and I still haven't received it. I've been calling their office for the past month, but I've only heard from their finance department once. He said the check was already sent, but I haven't received it yet. I keep calling them to let them know, but they haven't communicated anything about not giving me my deposit. They have my new address, but I haven't heard anything from them. I've left countless voicemails, but I'm still waiting for a response regarding my security deposit. They know I left because of my job and COVID, and I had to pay the full rent for March even though I couldn't really afford it. They promised me my deposit, but I'm still waiting.
