My rent is paid in full and in advance. North Terrace took over this property from a landlord who neglected tenants, discriminated racially, and neglected the property itself. The property had roaches and a leaking roof. It has been a month since North Terrace took over. I asked for roach extermination because they crawl in my bed. North Terrace sent an older white man to inspect my apartment, who seemed racist. My contact at North Terrace said they won't exterminate until my apartment is cleaned. My apartment is very clean, but I have extra furniture because it's a small place and I plan to move out in October. Furniture doesn't cause roaches; they need treatment. I already spent $20 on Raid two months ago and won't spend more. The agent, ***, is not good and is rude, condescending, and racist. Additionally, I have a slow leaking roof, and being disabled makes it harder for me.

Do not move into the Courtyard Apartments at ***

Do not move into the Courtyard Apartments at ***. North Terrace Property, there is trash in the garbage bins that the construction crews have been using. There was a case of COVIID-19 which was not reported to the tenants. This used to be a nice community but now it's going down. Several tenants' basements and sinks flood with leaks coming from the walls. The construction crew does not even wear face masks.
