Mold issue Apt 3106 (B)
My son (Jagger Garza) moved his things into apartment 3106-b on 8/11/23. He was going to start residing in the apartment on 8/18/23, however his roommate identified mold in the apartment (kitchen ceiling). The roommate notified the complex, however the complex has yet to formally notify my son or myself that there is mold in the apartment. My son, has since moved out of that apartment unit due to the mold, however the complex does not have another 3-bedroom to accommodate the 3-roommates therefore my son is without a place to live. My complaint is regarding the negligence on the apartment complex in allowing my son to move into an unhealthy and inhabitable apartment unit. It is clear that a thorough inspection was not conducted prior to allowing tenants to occupy this unit. In reviewing previous complaints, there are prior complaints against this complex for mold issues.
Desired outcome: My desired outcome is to be released from the lease agreement without any penalty or effect on my son's and my credit as I am the guarantor.

So, I had to bounce from Midtown Corpus Christi. Personal stuff, you know? I told the guys at the complex about it and offered to pay for breaking my lease and for any months the crib ain't rented out. Well, they just hit me with a text talkin' about I owe them $6,603.01 smackeroos. That's for 11 months of rent! I bugged this lady named *** at the office and asked how I get credit for the time the place is rented, but she didn't have a clue. I even posted on Facebook and at the schools 'round here to find someone to take over the lease - no dice. I hope they can cut me some slack and help me out with this.

They painted a small spot with a different color, but the rest of the walls have stains. I emailed management a few times, and I also visited the office, but we still haven't figured it out. On July 30, 2022, we were charged $187.50 each for damage to the common area's partial paint. I asked about it, and they said they'd check with the manager and let me know what was going on. So I didn't have to pay yet. On August 4, 2022, after I paid rent, they charged me $18.75 late fee. The new tenants came on August 13, 2022. The manager and regional property manager came to my apartment and I showed them the stains on the walls after being painted. I also said that the vendor charged the apartment complex so much money. The regional property manager agreed with me. She said it would be taken care of. On September 10, 2022, I emailed the manager saying I'm upset because it's been a long time and haven't gotten a response. I asked to hear from them by September 14, 2022. The manager has not replied. I want a refund for damages, late fees, and to paint the common areas, which means the living room and kitchen. My ex-roommate deserves the same refund.
