I placed an order for the Acronis True Image 2025 Build 42072 product from NewEgg.com, for the explicit reason that it was advertised as the last version of Acronis that had Perpetual Licenses that did not
require subscriptions or any other reoccurring fees. Newegg ADVERTISED this product as being a Perpetual licensed software charged me $109.99.
Order Date: 6/24/2026 1:48:12 PM
Order Number: 392797129
Acronis True Image 2025 - 3 Device, Perpetual License [Digital Download]
Qty: 1
$109.99
When I tried to install it, and used the NewEgg provided activation code - I am being told that the "Prescription
License has expired", meaning that I did NOT receive the Perpetual Licensed software that NewEgg
NewEgg.com, as you can clearly see by examining the order confirmation email, LIED in their advertisement
about this product being a 3 PC Perpetual licensed download, which it is NOT. This is CLEARLY FALSE
Advertising and this is ILLEGAL.
I want to know why this happened, and if Acronis was somehow responsible for nullifying the Perpetual license for Build 42072, which makes Acronis complicit in the fraudulent theft of my $109.99 dollar cost.
I am considering pursuing legal action if I cannot get a full REFUND.
Claimed loss: 109.99
Desired outcome: Full Refund
