But once they're in, the allocation team pretty much pleads with them to take on projects for pay that's, well, less than stellar. It seems a small number of projects might get done without too much trouble, but after a while, it appears the company starts to play dirty with the freelancers. They've got a whole system of penalties that can hit you for anything from 10% to a whopping 500%.

Here's how it goes down: after a project is assigned, the allocators, who are also acting as clients, demand a part of the work within 12 hours. Miss that deadline by even an hour or two, and bam, you're hit with a 20% penalty. Same thing if you're late with the final submission. And if the client asks for a bit of rework and claims you didn't meet the requirements, there's another 20% penalty, plus you've got to fix it in 2 hours or face yet another penalty.

The penalties are all over the place, and after a couple of months, the admins, still posing as clients, might message saying they flunked the subject because of the work, slapping you with a 200% failure penalty. So, even if you do manage to earn a bit from successful projects, you could end up losing a ton of money to these penalties. I've heard from friends who've done like 50 projects in a month and ended up with just a handful of INR after all the deductions.

A lot of my buddies used to freelance with Nerdy Turtlez, but once they caught on to the fact that it's not exactly a legit operation, they all bailed and moved over to sites like freelancer.com. Some of the freelancers even reached out to university officials and exposed the whole thing, which led to students who'd used Nerdy Turtlez for their assignments getting expelled.

All in all, it doesn't seem like Nerdy Turtlez is a good bet for anyone, whether you're a freelancer looking for work or a student needing help with your studies.
