GetInterviews Resume writing service

Please allow this note to serve as a warning to all consumers. Do not purchase from Getinterviews.com. The information that they provide to you is false and misleading. They do not fully disclose the terms of agreement and you will be out of money before you ever get a satisfactory product. They do not guarantee anything except vague and ambiguous responses to questions.
They absolutely do not have industry experts and only use resume templates that are revised based on information that you provide. The hours that you invest in providing them with information for your resume is time that you could spend revising your own resume with free online resources and other support. Saving yourself several hundred dollars and invest in a nice suit for an upcoming interview. This services offered by Getinterviews.com is simply not worth the time and financial resources that you will be required to invest. I don't know if I have ever been more disappointed by the lack of integrity in a company that pretends it is designed to help.
I purchased the service of Getinterviews.com on August 26. On August 27, I contacted them to cancel my contract after receiving an extensive questionnaire. I stated that my review of the questionnaire made it quite clear that ultimately, I would be writing my own resume by the time I spent hours informing the so-called "expert" in my field. I already had a resume that was well-written enough for the "expert" to assess and perfect with minimal effort if they were truly skilled in their field. When I requested a cancellation and a refund given that it had only been 24 hours and no services had been rendered, they absolutely refused. In fact, the manager stated that under no circumstances would they ever issue a refund, although their services are supposedly guaranteed.
The language of their agreement is vague and does not fully disclose the terms of service. Consumers can only be harmed by trusting them at a time when they are most vulnerable.

I am shocked with the non-professionalism they rendered to me by misrepresenting themselves as resume writers and promising to give a resume that will get you interviews. At the same time, chopping up a professional "curriculum vitae" (CV) distorting the truth I presented in my detailed CV... Immediately I knew they were not for me. They "cut and pasted" relevant data from various areas of my CV to areas that did not apply.

They incorrectly changed my personal information to something else, in addition to scrambling other data and completely deleting a host of pertinent information essential for the positions applying (administrator/president/leadership positions). These positions are "word-specific" meaning the phrases necessary I included in the CV were completely left out... What they sent to me looked like someone straight out of high school writing their first resume. That is totally in acceptable!
I have a doctorate and two masters degrees. I have taught in adult education for 22-years, and as an adjunct professor for many years. I know the level of the document they presented to me was sub-par. I can do better on my own! They obviously wanted me to "reinvent the wheel". I requested a refund, which under these circumstances should granted, immediately!
