I've gotten a couple dozen phone calls from this company, trying to sell me an extended warranty on a 10 year old vehicle. I've used their "press 2 to be removed" system, and they call back. I've talked to their agent and asked to be removed from their calling system, and was told I would be...and they called back. I've talked to their agents several more times, asked to be removed each time, been told I would be each time, yet still they keep calling back. Most recent was 10 minutes ago.

I have no relationship with this company, but I'm about to send them a registered letter telling them that if they call me again I will bill them for my time and the use of my phone equipment for their marketing calls, and that their agreement to my terms will be signaled by their next call to my phone number. Failure to pay will result in a suit for collection in Maryland. I'd prefer that they just stop calling me...

I just received a call from them and thank you everyone for posting info about this awful company. I had to argue with this sales person for about 10 min. He talked about how they have a great rating on the BBB but what most people dont know is that companies that have a D or an F as a rating can put out money and buy a better rating. I used to always look at the BBB as a reliable source but apparently they love money and will do anything for these awful companies that really should keep an F or D rating. They talk about a no problem hold on your card and then you can cancel after 30 days do not give anything out over the phone once they have your card they can do anything so just dont let them have that control. Remember you always have control they called you you didnt call them.

National Dealers Warranty Inc .. "Derrick" called my home today about my husbands 2006 pontiac GTO today trying to tell me that the factory warranty had expired on the vehicle when in fact we still have 6 months left on the warranty and we purchased a GMPP on the vehicle for an additional 5 years, just 6 months ago... I attempted to find out if he was calling from GM he stated yes. I asked him if he sells GMPP he stated No but they rep the manufacturer.. I began to explain that I already purchased a warranty for my vehicle and was not interested. He proceeded to tell me I did not know what the HELL i was talking about. When I stated i did not appreciate his comment he told me "calm down" I adivsed him that he called my house and that I was not going to be spoken to in this manner.. I asked to speak to a supervisor... He refused stated he did not feel like getting up.. I advised him that I am well educated and that I know that I have a warranty and I do not appreciate them calling he kept saying there you go agian getting all worked up you need to calm down .. After requesting a Supervisor 10 times in a row.. I got Angry and I told him to F***ing go to hell... and to never call my home again. he asked why i was so upset. I explained that i was not going to have some sarcastic [censor] call my home and talk to in this manner. He obviously is in the wrong line of work Customer Service is not done this way. He then stated that he was going to file harrassment charges against me for cursing at him.. I adivsed him that he called myhome I did not call him and that he can not threaten me like that. and demanded a supervisor agian. I asked him for his name and id number he refused to provide it to me and he then stated that I would receive a letter form his attny at my address that he then read off to me again.. As I woman I feel very unsafe that this man has my phone number, name and address... I then asked for supervisor again and explained that as a customer I have more rights than he does and his threat is very serious he pretended to put me on hold and the the call was disconnected. When I tried to call the [protected] number I got a busy signal.. all that came across my caller ID was Springlake NJ and this number..

As everyone else says, they keep contacting us over and over and over for the last couple months claiming that they are offering an extended warranty on our 8 year old car. I'm not sure how they got the info as I just bought the car 2 months ago and got a new phone number 4 months ago. The only people who I told about buying the car and gave my home phone to is the local Tax Collector's office.

Either way, they call once a day, sometimes twice and don't say anything. If my mom says "Hello, " they hang up. If me or my father answers, they ask for my dad. I pretended to be my dad to get their whole BS story and then hung up. The persist on calling still. It's a real nuisance and a bother to my whole family as they love to call around dinner time or whenever my handicapped sister is trying to rest.

Anywho, I'm going to start investigating this company and filing the proper complaints since their Do Not Call registry is obviously BS. If I can, I'll do more. Personally, I would like to see everyone who works for this company drawn and quartered but I doubt that's going to happen so I'll be satisfied if they get taken down.

The number they call from is: [protected].

I agree...This company sold my ingnorant butt a policy...however it was nothing that was agreed too. I was sent a high mileage policy on a low milage vehicle and none of the items I was told were covered were. I was told bumper to bumper yet was given a high milage policy that barely covered anything. I was also told after looking over the policy if I did not like it I could cancel...he said just give him a call. The problem is...I never got it...until after the first payment was due and the second was going to be due. When I did speak to him I was going over the policy with him...and let him know this is not what I was informed I was getting. When I told him to cancel he told me sorry but I would have send the contract back with a notarized statement at the date of the request within 60 of the contract purchase date. What the heck! Can we say cons!

We have been getting the calls for about 6 months, but we've never heard *anything* on the other line! It's almost even more frustrating. We're getting these hangup calls at LEAST twice a day, every day.
We are on the ndnc list and have called the number back and gotten a promt to verbally enter our number to be placed on their do not call list. Verbally, really? We knew it wasn't gonna do anything.
It's harrassement!
And no, we never called a number from a mailer, never called anyone back... nothing. We did not subject ourselves to this in any way.
There's gotta be SOMEthing SOMEbody can do.

I received my phone call while at work on a RECORDED line. I let the woman talk and finally I asked her for a number where she could be reached as my husband takes care of all that I just drive the cars. She continued by asking me what my hesitation was and I again asked for the businesses number. A simple question really. She became irritated because my warranty was ending in like 5 minutes I guess and it would be unreasonable to want to look at my paper work and get back with this legitimate company.. RIGHT SCAM SCAM SCAM . The lady quickly ended our conversation without giving me a number.

FOR NATIONAL AUTO DIVISION YOU CALLED ME AT WORK ON A RECODED LINE AT A POLICE DEPARTMENT !

I also don't know how to get these "pests" to stop calling me.
At one time I owned a brand new VW Jetta that was totaled in a wreck.
Then I got a '92 BMW that clearly doesn't need any kind of warranty.
About 2 months ago they started calling me. The 1st call was pleasant, I told the guy I never owned a Subaru & I don't have a need for any car warranty. The 2nd call I told the guy to please take me off their call list. By the 3rd call I got irrate! I told the guy to permantely remove me from their call list. I couldn't believe what he said next...He told me the problem he had with me was I wasn't revealing what year/make/model vehicle I currently own. With a few choice words I told him he isn't ever going to find out! Well, they STILL keep calling me. When I see on the caller ID it's National Auto I don't bother to pick up the phone and they never leave a message.

i dont know what the hell all you [censor]s are talking about these people were very nice when i spoke with them over the phone they stayed on the phone with me for an hour answering every question i had, the policy they sell is actually one of the best extended warranty companies out there american auto sheild i went to my dealership the day after i received the policy and learned once your out of your manufactured warranty you cannot get the official honda care extended warranty they will not give it to you instead they tried to sell me an american auto sheild policy for 2100$ with a 6.5 percent interest rate attached to the plan...i got the same exact plan from national auto for 2300$ interest free an i only put 95$ down and pay 95$ a month

I recieved a call last night (7/29/10) and was called "lazy" by the salesperson when I questioned the authenticity of the company. He then told me I did not need to be driving a high end vehicle and stated that I should be driving a Kia instead. He became more and more irrate and told me he calls that "[censor] rich" I was so insulted. I did nothing to provoke this kind of onslaught, which I did not deserve under any circumstances. I will contact the BBB and my Attorney General.

well i have to strongly disagree ...they explain everything so you have a clear understanding on whats going to be covered ...if your not honest to them about your milege on your vehicle when you get your warranty and you exceed 150 thousand miles ...they cannot cover your claims ...
if your vehicle is sitting on sinderblocks and lie and say it isnt how are you going to drive your car to get fixed ...well you cant!...so maybe all of you should stop lying on this site and be honest with yourself and maybe you wont feel youve been cheated ...

I have had enough of these jerks as well. They called me and harrassed me. I told them I was on the do-not-call-list and asked them to put on a supervisor. A lady got on the phone and was nearly as big a jerk as the first guy. When I asked her why she didn't just apologize and move on to the next call she said, "OK I'm putting you on the list", and at that precise time the guy that called me chimed in with, "so we can call your dumb ### again tomorrow and everyday". Can you imagine what a bunch of clowns this company is represented by. I have continually received calls from them and I finally gave them enough bait to get some information. I an definitely filing a complaint with the attorney general.

I have felt the same pain as everyone here discussing this topic, I am just a teenager and one day, the National auto division called our house to put some extra miles on my dads lexus. Thinking that we gained there trust, we went ahead on the plan. Now my parents are pissed off and wants to cancel it, you all might think this is whack but we diddnt know why we agreed with them at the first place, and i know all of you have ever heard of the term. "The customer is always right." as for all of us, we are all innocent people and we all have rights. I just want to sue there dumb ###ing ###, and want there company to be exposed, and to the person who started this article. My family is suffering with the same transactions you have been through.

A friend of mine told me about metro marketing a telemarketing company that are always hiring. I just lost my sales job and I thought I can still stay sharp with my sales skills and make some money by working for them. But from the very first day I realized that the whole place was kind of a dubious operation. The section that I was working in was selling or coning people into this auto warranty under the name National Auto Division. Also, the application for this job was only one page long and it didn’t ask for references. As soon as I saw who was working there I was shocked. About two days into the job I realized that only drug dealers and ex-cons and drug addicts work there. Furthermore, the abusive language of the supervisors and co-workers and callers I have found to be psychologically damaging. I felt bad for the people that I had to call and bother at home and sometimes the computer or automatic dialer would call completely wrong numbers and even people at work. After a very short time I realized that I couldn’t work there anymore because I felt my safety was in danger because one of the drug dealers accused me of looking like a cop. I have to say it was a strange work experience to say the least. Also, I want to say I’m sorry if I have called or bothered anyone at home I was forced to by the situation.

Just read that post from the user Victimized23. That is EXACTLY what happen to us! I am debating the transactions through my bank and trying to cancel it that way. The way to complain is "services are not as promised".

That is exactly what happened:

"""Unfortunately my wife fell for it and gave them a credit card to "process sending us the complete paperwork for review" which we would have a "Full 30 days to evaluate with no obligation or cost" and we could "call back and cancel at any time in 30 days".""""

This company called me almost every day including Saturdays starting at 8:00 AM even after I told them to put me on their do not call list. I finally got tired of it. When they called today, I told them I was interested in their warranty. The rep switched me to a manager. When they asked for a credit card I asked them to send me all the information and then I would pay. The manager, Mark, begin to lecture me about not always being able to get what I want and that he was going to delete my VIN number and I would never be able to get a good auto warranty. I finally told him I wasn't interested in his warranty I just wanted to waste his time because all the times his company called me. Then the lecturing and insulting really started. At first he told me he was going to continue to call me every day. I did get upset when he told me that his company followed all the laws, but other than that it was quite amusing. I managed to take up about 40 minutes of his time which is 40 minutes that they were not calling somebody else. If they call back, I will try it again. Hope to get the same manager.

It just happened to me. I've asked them multiple times to take me off the calling list and the fellow on the phone tried to sound all formal bu claiming that my warranty was about to expire and that he was just about doing me a favor by calling me again. He had the same approach about having to verify my VIN number, suggested I look online for the company while he would stay on hold (what a nice guy!) so that he wouldn't close out of my file and cause me to lose my warranty. He was very confrontational when I told him to take me off his calling list. Beware of these guys, they are aggressive and clearly up to no good.

I also have been scamed by this company. They also told me that they was my factory warrenty company of Chevy and that it was true that they were and they even told me my vin number and that if they were not them they wouldn't know my vin number and they repeated the number to me and that made me fill that they were telling the truth. I recived the contract through the mail that was a booklet then they said I would get some other paper throught the mail to sign which never came. I resently took my car in to get repairs done, they contiued to reject the claim for the second time I was then told to get in estimate from the shop did that they still rejected it. Iam the idot, they only did that to give me more of the run around that they have been giving me for the past month. They told me coverage starts in 30 days of the contract got past that and tryied to get work done on the car they tryied to say something about a 30 days plus a 1, 000 miles then the contract would start. Well been past that still nothing. Then they sent me the contract with the wronge start miles on it, that's just a way for them to reject your claim. Saying you lied about your miles to get a better down payment price. Lesson learned to never ever buy any thing over the phone. Dont trust it.

They just called me at work. The whole thing felt like a scam. While I was on the phone with their "manager", I Googled the company. This site, among similar sites, were the first linkson the list. The descriptions I read here sound exactly like the conversation I just had. When I told them that I wasn't going commit to a "deposit" over the phone, he ran into some other schpiel that sounded even less believable (based on what my insurance agent friends have told me about the business). I finally just told him that I wasn't interested and hung up.

I belive that National Auto Division is a great company. They were very kind and caring toward me and my wife. Any quuestions we had were answered to the fullest. When my wife forgot to put transmission fluid in the car and the transmission blew, we only had to pay our $100 deductible. It was great! Joe D. and Alex B. really helped us out well! Thanks National Auto Division!

Total Scam. Unfortunately my wife fell for it and gave them a credit card to "process sending us the complete paperwork for review" which we would have a "Full 30 days to evaluate with no obligation or cost" and we could "call back and cancel at any time in 30 days".
Of course the "contract" that showed up in the mail stated cancelation must be in writing, and required a certified odometer reading. Except in the state where we live- where we CANNOT cancel the plan- only the lein holder/financing company could, and only in the event of an accident and total loss of the car (which would need to be verified in writing).
And the credit card had already been charged the first of many paymants totaling over $2500. The card is canceled but they continue calling and threatening months later. The "Plan" is crap - the dealer could sell us better extended coverage for less than half that (which we didn't want when we bought it). Somehow they conned my wife into thinking we had a lemon that was going to fall apart and we had to sign up for a factory warranty with them. They had the VIN number - as it turns out VIN numbers are considered public knowledge and companies sell lists of them all the time. Total BS about being factory or dealer "authorized". Total scam to "get all the information and paperwork done right away by phone" - because "she was going to love the paperwork when it got here" and of course "there was no obligation whatsoever".
lost a few hundred dollars initially and continue to be harrassed.

How can she be his administrative assistant but have a National Dealers Warranty Inc email address?

After several attempts, National Dealers Warranty Inc finally "sweet talked" me into purchasing their warranty on December 13, 2007. The downpayment over the phone was $195.00. Then they took $149.89 for the following 18 months. On August 23rd of this year, I brought my car in to the Firestone repair shop near my home for an oil change. On that date, they created a work order for the two front axles and the timing belt and contacted National Dealers Warranty Inc for the authorization to do the repairs. They refused.

After many attempts to resolve this issue by phone (approximately 30 calls in the ensuing 45 days) and their continued refusal to pay for the repairs, I contacted my credit card company to dispute as many payments as possible. They were able to retrieve the final four payments, $599.

I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (now there's 333 against the company) and the following day I met with an attorney. They responded to the BBB complaint by first stating that I brought my car to Firestone on Oct. 1, then stating that when I first went into the Firestone repair shop in August, I was told that the protective boot that covers the joint was cracked and was losing grease and that I didn't get that repaired.

This is what the original Firestone work order states:

WORK ORDER #
076416
08/23/09 10:33AM
Half Shaft (Front-Both)
60-3265 L REMN CV COMPL ASSY $140.90
60-3266 R REMN CV COMPL ASSY $140.90
REMOVE & INSPECT F AXLE SHAFT ASSEMBLY - BOTH $170.00
REPLACE AXLE SHAFT EACH SIDE $25.50 x 2
TOTAL THIS SECTION $502.80
ENGINE DIAGNOSTIC SERVICE
Symptom: Eng:Dash Light On-
COMPUTERIZED ENGINE ANALYSIS $79.99
TIMING BELT
95284 TIMING BELT $46.99
REMOVE & REPLACE TIMING BELT $226.20
7027871 FAN BELT $21.99
335K4 POLY RIB BELT $21.99
345K4 POLY RIB BELT $18.99
TOTAL THIS SECTION $416.15. TOTAL $918.95

They lied to the Better Business Bureau. They also lied when they stated to the BBB that they refunded $599.56. I retrieved it through disputing the charges through my credit card company. They lied when they stated that I brought my car to Firestone on October 1st. They also lied to BBB when they stated that the timing belt is not even covered in the contract.

Per contract number GKPP007109378, page 3, "Covered Parts":
The following is a list of Covered Parts under this Contract (Taxes and fluids needed for authorized repairs are also included): (1) Engine - Engine head(s); engine block; cylinder barrels; timing cover; valve covers(s); oil pain (SIC); dip stick & tube, ONLY if damaged by the failure of an internal, lubricated part. The following internal, lubricated parts: pistons, pins & rings; connecting rods & bearings; crankshaft & main bearings; camshaft, followers & cam bearing; push rods, valves, springs, replaceable guides, seats & lifts; rocker arms, shafts & bushings; TIMING GEAR, chain, tensioners & retainers; eccentric shaft; oil pump. Also covered are the following: TIMING BELT; water pump; intake & exhaust manifolds; turbo charger; engine mounts & cushions; engine torque strut; harmonic balancer; flexplate; idler pulley bearings.
(3) DRIVER AXLE(S) - Differential house, transaxle housing final drive housing, if damaged by the failure of an internal, lubricated part. All internal, lubricated contained within the housings. Axle shafts, constant vleocity joints (CV); universal joints; drive shafts; locking hubs; locking rings; supports, retainers & bearings. No coverage afforded for clutch assembly or any part thereof.

So, they took $2900 from me. I retrieved $599.56 through the credit card company. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I met with an attorney. And, I met with two different television stations in the Greater Cincinnati area, John Matarese, who does his "Don't Waste Your Money" on WCPO Channel 9 and also with Howard Ain, who does his "Trouble Shooter" segment on WKRC Local 12.

I have also put this same information on the [redacted] today. And, I will find as many other places to tell my story until National Dealers Warranty Inc is embattled in a class-action lawsuit while their income dwindles as the "news" about them spreads.

I also just received a call on 8:30 Sat. morning from this company stating that they are the only authorized dealer for Toyota and that is why they have our complete vehicle number that no one else could have. When given to a manager, she also informed me that I had to pay TODAY WITH A CREDIT CARD because our warranty was ending. When I continued to ask specific questions, the lady hung up on me. I strongly feel no reputable company would conduct business this way. Be wary of this company!

I was unfortunitely scammed by these same people.
I have been trying to cancel this policy for 3 weeks.
After 3 letters and a rash of some very lengthy, irritating phone calls, I may have succeeded. My new policy is to never buy anything over the phone.

you guys are completely relentless. if your stupid enough to call a place cause of a commercial or a old letter you had laying around and give them your number at the time they ask for one then you are just asking for a million calls a day. OBVIOUSLY YOU KNOW they are going to call you back. It's like if you show a jehovahs witness interest in what they are talking about they are going to come back. Call a sale place your going to get follow up calls.
And the whole thing on the brothers if you guys even paid attention, Darrian did some stupid things when he was younger. He is in his late 40's now and did all of that when he was 19-20. He has openly admitted to the fact that he has made some mistakes in his past but then again. HAVEN'T WE ALL?! Just because a guy can come back from a troubling life to being able to make money doesn't give anybody the right to go after him about his past.
And if you all haven't even bothered looking at the positive of the company out of the 25, 000 or whatever complaints on the BBC they have only 11 of them were unresolved. Looking at how many happy freaking customers they have compared to their stupid BBC report means nothing. Do you know how many complaints your local MCDONALDS or WALMART get?!
Why not give the poor people who work there a break. They are just doing their job to make ends meat to live just like everyone else. You think people at burger king love their job and deal with grease? no. but they do it to live.
Look at the whole picture before focusing on one small point and thinking negatively from there. No wonder why America is so negative.
GROW UP.

I have been receiving phone calls on a recently acquired ( new) phone number. I've received about 30 last chances to renew or extend my vehicle warranty. Up on pushing # 1 telephone button, I''m ask to verify my vehicle make, model and year. This clearly reminds me that this is a rip-off as the persons calling has no idea what vehicle is involved or who I am. I have began a campaign of colorful language, usage, once I get a live person of the line. It seems being on the Don't call list and Filing FTC complaints doesn't have any AFFECT on these idiots here in Virginia. I receive a phone call every day at about 7:15 PM. I let the phone ring several times. pickup and punch # 1 to talk to a live person and get rather colorful with my displeasure. Have had the pleasure of talking with a so-called supervisor who didn't appreciate my colorful sense of being irritated with their continuous calls. Don

These people ### with our lives. I think it's time to ### with theirs. If anyone knows anyway to take this company down a noche, or even to just harrass/annoy/embarass/destroy the ### out of it, make it known. I call all those pissed off people getting phone calls in the middle of the night to take up arms and wage all out warfare against them. Anonymous took down SCIENTOLOGY'S ###ing website. Compared to that, this should be a piece of cake. Good hunting.

### have been calling me for 2-3 years..have been on NDNC list for three years or so and am still valid on NDNC list...I've tried everything prompted#2 aked to be removed...Asked where where and who they are and they either hang up or say I'm will be removed. I filed complaints with NDNC with no response.
Also as another person listed I get call from some company with "Last change to lower my interest rate" for about just as long with same damn results..won't leave me alone..both call a least once a week to 3-4 times a week...WONDER IF BOTH COMPANIES ARE RELATED ! ###
