Regional manager
I thought it was a great place to work. Had issues with Regional manager from the start for some reason he is racist never said anything to the one sleeping on the job or the ones that wasnt doing their jobs I got in trouble cause he said I had my hands in my pockets 2 times the other employees were either black or Hispanic and I'm white. Then jumped on me cause my ex didnt come back with me said it was my fault and I caused the company money. How was it my fault I was the one that came back to work my ex didnt. Nothing is said to the ones that are high when they get to work and get high during lunch and breaks or the ones sleeping during work hours or the ones that try harder to not work than work...
Or the ones that that F this and F that around customers or N this or N that but if course they r all black or Hispanic my son came into my room( my perdiem pays for my room) to carry some totes out that's why I got let go because he is racist and a chauvinistic (BJ) he will not listen to anything you say at all talks to you like you are stupid and that he is better than you. He ain't no better than anyone else and has no right to talk to anyone the way he does National you really need to give jobs that have any kind of say so to people that ain't racist and doesnt let power go to their heads...
Desired outcome: I would like my job back
Trainer B.S.
Yes I started a job with national assemblers and I thought it was going to be a good job. Except for all my first day of work I built 12 bikes and did one repair. I do know that when first starting with assemblers wedding training you get paid $15 per hour and do not get paid by the piece. Throughout the day my trainer would have me scan bicycles that were still in the box that needed to be put together under his name and not mine. I thought that was a little weird. At the end of the day he had put in to the computer that I had done seven bikes and one repair. He also told me that day that your peace count does matter when training because that determines after training your overtime percentage. So what I got home I had also read the same thing that he had told me about the overtime percentage. So in other words built, cuz I don't know maybe he's greedy. So I said f that I will not be used terrible company to work for..
Desired outcome: Just want to let other people know that if you like doing work for others and not getting credit for it then have at it in other words, outcome just to have people not to apply.

National Assemblers is a piece work contractor who deals with Walmart in New England. For each bike grill or piece of furniture a set price is paid. In the first week of Aug myself and supervisor took a road trip to every Walmart in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont to do a product recall on the Next power X bikes.
Our job was to replace the chains on certain bikes with a specific upc code once the chain was replaced we were to change out the upc code stickers. The set price was 10 per bike fixed and $8 per hour of drive time and .55 cents a mile driven. National Assemblers refused to pay us our pay for 1, 800 miles and the 60 bikes we did the chains on and the 40 or so hours of drive time. There are 56 stores in our region and we did this trip in 6 days.
We felt we were doing ourselves a favor by pushing hard to get this done and make National Assemblers look good. Well I got my direct deposit on Friday for our trip and it was a mere 346 bucks. I have never been real great at math but this doesn’t add up and if you try to talk to National Assemblers they refuse to answer anything you ask.
This applications asks for social security number, and drivers license number and expiration date. I feel this has to do with identity theft and maybe linked to some sort of terrorism. I believe homeland security should investigate this company, and all companies of this nature.
I've worked for the company for 2 years, and I've never not been paid for something I assembled or repaired. It's hard to imagine, based on my experiences with the company that there is no one you could have talked to in order to resolve the situation.
How can you comment that your pay doesn't add up without looking at your check stub and report from the website that has a breakdown of every item you assembled or chain you replaced? I hardly believe you tried to call and no one had answered. Please do not give a bad review due to your own negligence?
I have worked for national assemblers Inc for three years now and have never been underpaid or lied to about my pay. I can access any and all my paychecks and also see exactly what my next paycheck is going to be. I even have access to view a detailed list of items I'm being paid for and how much each item pays. This is the best company ive ever worked for. I feel as if I have a personal friendship with most of the staff. It's a shame that anyone feels negative about a company who strives to be the best and provide quality assemblers with quality results.
