My EyeLab is one of the worst places to shop for glasses! I was really disappointed with the quality of their products and warranty. I bought two pairs of glasses from them, and both soon had issues. The first pair had an ongoing problem of lenses that kept popping out and eventually broke just weeks after I got them. The second pair soon after purchase had a cracked lens right where they met the frames. Both lenses were affected! When I tried to contact their corporate office, I was given the run around and was told each location operates independently as a franchise. I could not get any help from them to escalate my concerns.

If you visit the store, they want you to pay a whopping 20% of the MSRP of the lens and one whole month to repair your glasses! It's more of a headache than it's worth. Their customer service is terrible; they never return calls when you try to escalate issues, leaving you stranded with nowhere to turn. They even became reluctant to fix my faulty lenses, which should have been repaired free of charge. Their repair estimate was $36, which was a rip off given the poor quality of their products.

I had to look elsewhere and buy a whole new pair of glasses elsewhere, and I will never touch another My EyeLab product again. I'd rather go an online store, where the customer service is better, the products are of better quality, and cheaper too. I'm telling you, stay away from My Eye Lab. It's one big scam! Store in Forney, TX (now operating under a different name) refused refund on glasses that were made with a bad prescription. Instead of refunding they used my old prescription which still was not right. This was in August and went on for more than a month. Each time I called the 800 number they would “escalate” my complaint but would never get back with me, forcing me to go back to the store.

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with My EyeLab. I mean, they told me one price on the phone and online, but when I got to the store, they hit me with a bill that was way higher. And it wasn't just a few extra bucks for some junk fees, they straight up upcharged me without ever giving me a total until the very end. Not cool, man.

And if that wasn't bad enough, when I got my glasses, they weren't quite right. But when I went back to get them fixed, they wanted to charge me a fortune. Like, come on, I already paid a bunch of money for these things, can't you cut me a break?
